6.6.0 introduced the Archive, a new museum space for the mod.
The Archive is NOT related to Legacy of the Dragonborn, so please do not expect it to be anything like LotD.
Only Relics of Hyrule items have displays in the Archive.
If you encounter issues and glitches, let me know, but the general structure of the Archive will not change.
It will expand with the mod, but I can't do drastic changes, and criticism will largely be ignored.

Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom content will be implemented on a large scale in version 6.7. I will not be answering many questions about it, because everything is being considered for inclusion. Nothing from Tears of the Kingdom will be considered until July 2023.

Relics of Hyrule is compatible with AE.

If multiple things are invisible, that means the mod's meshes are not being loaded properly. You may have to reinstall the mod, or download it manually and install it through a mod manager after downloading it (assuming you use a mod manager).
If those items simply don't appear at all, then the mod may not be active.

When reporting crashes, be as specific as possible.
Crashes are very hard to diagnose, so please give me as much info as possible.
Otherwise I will have to ask stupid questions to figure out the issue.
I guarantee I will respond with the following:
Crashes and freezes are very hard to diagnose, so I have to ask a bunch of dumb questions to try to figure out what's going on.
Are you on VR? Does this happen every time? Does reloading a previous save change anything? Are you running any mods that could cause a conflict, even a minor one?

PLEASE HELP! You can help with Relics of Hyrule by contributing to the wikia.
This video explains what you can do!

There is also a quick info spreadsheet with a ton of raw data from the mod that can help inform the wiki, or for your own curiosity.

If you are having an issue with the mod and installed using a mod organizer or manager like Vortex or NMM, I'm sorry, but I cannot help. Try downloading the main file manually and install using Vortex or NMM afterwards. That is the extent of my advice.

If you have questions, a Nexus user has been generous enough to offer their support for using Vortex or NMM. Their Discord server is dedicated to helping users with modding Skyrim and Fallout.
    The invite code is here:

Before reporting any issues, please make sure your installation is fully up to date.
Also check the bug tracking section on this page and the spreadsheet at this link, to see if your issue is already known.

Here are some quick notes about common issues. Let me know,
but be specific about what you're reporting.

If an item is blue or purple with no other features, it's missing textures or they are not being loaded properly. Reinstall or re-download and re-install. Usually caused by a mod manager.
If an item is invisible, it's missing meshes
If an item has black patches, then the texture or mesh is glitchy, but not missing.
If an item consistently crashes the game when equipped, selected, or loaded, the mesh is corrupted.
If a location consistently crashes the game when accessed, there's something in it that is corrupted.

If a mesh has not been optimized for SSE, there is probably a reason. Please do not run unoptimized Relics of Hyrule meshes through the NIF Optimizer. Doing so could break the mesh.

I am open to suggestions, but keep in mind that I will not add any quests.
I am also not going to modify the Master Sword.
I do *not* make patches or add-ons to work with RoH for any mods in any way.

I am open to lore/story suggestions, but I have a very specific story in mind and will not include anything that doesn't fit it.
The mod is called Relics of Hyrule for a reason.

Here's a spreadsheet that outlines ideas that have already been suggested and my thoughts on them.

Before making suggestions, please read this chart of guidelines to get a sense of what suggestions are feasible.

There's a video form of the chart as well.

Truly a blessed mod. This is without a doubt my favourite Skyrim mod of all time. I still remember when I discovered it all of those years ago, casually browsing the nexus looking for a mod that adds the Master Sword to the game, when I stumbled upon this absolute gem (to think that I almost didn't download it because large mods intimidated me in those days). It's this mod alone that keeps me coming back to Skyrim again and again well over 10 years past its release date and is the only mod (with the exception of essentials like the unofficial patch) that I simply can't play the game without. The amount of work that has clearly gone into this mod is astounding and the fact that you're STILL working on it years later blows me away!

The experiences I have while trudging through the dungeons, listening to some classic Zelda tunes while I do so, and stumbling across a new enemy or relic that you've added are absolutely surreal. The models for all of the relics are amazing (credit to you and all of the other talented modders that have contributed to that), and some of the enemies genuinely make my skin crawl (seriously dude, the Like-Like's are f***ing disgustingly good XD).

However, my favourite aspect is definitely the lore - I still don't understand how you've managed to merge the two worlds of Zelda and Elder Scrolls so seamlessly, but you have done it beautifully. I still get chills and a genuine sombre feeling as I read through all of the hopeless journals and tomes of those who came before; chronicling their final thoughts as their entire world literally crumbles around them...

This mod has clearly been made with an unreal amount of love and I am constantly ranting about it to anybody that doesn't have the backbone to tell me to shut up :) Thank you for sharing this gem with the world!

Thanks for the kind words! It has definitely been a labor of love, and I surprise myself with how long I've been working on it.
It's also very heartening to know it has had such an impact on those who have played it, and that it is getting so much love in return!

Your post is definitely a highlight, so thank you again. It's very nice to receive kind words in a sea of suggestions, bug reports and work.

Just finished the main story of this mod, what an experience! I didn't think it was possible to so fluidly weave these two worlds together. I was initially skeptical that this mod was up to scale with a DLC, but you really weren't kidding. Those were some of the most creative environments I've ever seen in skyrim. It's criminal how hidden this mod is, I can't think of many mods that have this level of effort, passion, commitment, and care put into their creation. Truly amazing work, thank you so much for sharing this with the world.

Just a heads up everyone, if you're running an older version of Skyrim (1.5.97 or so) and the game crashes after updating to 6.6.2.C, download and install BEES (Backported Extended ESL Support).

Is there a faster way to add items to the archive? such as a box that adds all items you put it to the appropriate displays?

or do I have to touch each display to add the items?

There currently is no faster way. You can at least send items to their relevant halls via the resonator but you still have to interact with the displays to populate them.

Hey there, just wanted to ask something quick to anyone who may know.  Is anything accomplished by bringing the megaton hammer to the fire temple?  The book, "Darunia's Folly," suggests something along those lines but bringing the hammer there doesn't seem to do anything.  If there's nothing, that's fine, I'm just curious and enjoying poking into all the little hidden nooks this mod adds.

As far as I'm aware there currently isn't anything gained or unlocked by bringing the hammer to the temple. It is possible it has to be *used* somewhere but I wouldn't know what to do or where to go. You could always look up JKalenad's video guides to make sure you're not missing something.

JKalenad does also have temple expansions planned for a later update so if the hammer doesn't do anything now it may gain a role with said expansion.

I did try using it in a spot i thought was suspicious but, after watching the video for the fire temple, I imagine it's like you say that there just isn't anything there aside from some easter eggy goodness.  Either way, I appreciate the response.

Actually, if you see this, i have another question.  Taking the biggoron sword to an alteration table let me change it into a "cleaving" variant.  I did so and got the "biggoron sword (cleaving)."  I haven't noticed any difference in appearance or any difference when used in battle, I don't seem to have gained a new power or active effect either.  is there a difference between the different forms?

The base version has a chance of knockdown, which the cleaving version lacks to avoid vanilla issues with killmoves.

I've had this installed for a couple weeks now, and I've been spotting fairies and finding little treasures here and there as I aimlessly wander Skyrim. If that was the extent of the mod, I'd still be impressed. But today I found a grotto full of lore and an honest-to-goodness dungeon full of familiar creatures, bosses, and artifacts. Holy smokes, this is amazing. I can't imagine what I'll stumble upon next.

Should be as you enter the boss room, in an alcove on your right of the stairs leading up to the sarcophagus.

The Folgunthur page is a fixed spawn, meaning it'll always be in the same place no matter the playthrough, but it can get tossed about if you're throwing Shouts or explosions around. In the spoilered image below, it's on the right-hand side, just below the statue in the alcove.

This is the boss room in Folgunthur Crypt, so make sure you're not searching in the first zone of the dungeon (which is just called Folgunthur).

this was a mod beyond other mods. I could not believe the effort put into a mod for such an old game. you guys have done absolutely amazing on this. my friend played it with me through discord and he was doing voice overs and we were so engaged in the lore that we actually had a few moments where we cried. the lore fit perfectly (in my opinion) into skyrim lore and we had fun looking for all the stuff to make and catalogue every item in the archive so far. we still have much to do but alduin has paid for the loss of hyrule, never stop doing this because you guys deserve everything you got for this mod.

In the spreadsheet, you mention not wanting to add things from Hyrule Warriors, but there are a few things from it in the mod now, so have you changed your mind since then or did you just decide to make exceptions? I don't want to bother making suggestions if they're all things you don't want to add.

HW content is considered, but it has a lower probability of being added unless it fills a specific niche, for example, Linkle's Crossbow was added due to the low count of other crossbows in the series.

Are there some specific niches that could use something to fill them in the current state of the mod that you could name? I can try to figure some out myself, but I don't know if I'd get the right idea.

Is the wind element currently in this yet? I can't find it anywhere, and I remember one note saying something about something not being done yet. I just can't remember what anymore.

The Wind Element is indeed currently in the mod. It's in one of the new Minish dungeons, the Vacant Home.

Said home is located somewhere in the Morthal swamp, IIRC. It's not the same house Astrid stuffs you into during the Dark Brotherhood questline.

Maybe I missed it in my Zelda chest or the place itself. I'll have to recheck when I get a chance to play later. Thanks.

Edit: Yep, I'm just stupid. I put it in the wrong chest. Thanks for being patient. Lol

As a Zelda fan, pretty sick mod.
Funnily enough I used to try and cosplay as Link back on the f*#@ing PS3 version of Skyrim when I was young by playing as a wood elf and wearing that one green tunic. You know the one.
