When we are prompted to select a response while in a conversation with an NPC, the game starts a timer. If that time elapses, even if we're actively reading or even scrolling through a list of choices, the conversation ends. Sometimes this means we have to chase the NPC down and start the conversation over again. Sometimes it means we miss dialogue or worse.
Maybe we want to take our time to consider the consequences of our choice. Maybe we have a mod that gives us forty options to choose from. Whatever the reason, this timeout can be a nuisance.
Documentation indicates this setting defaults to one minute. For me, it was actually two minutes (which is still not long enough in some situations). This mod changes it to a full hour, effectively removing the timeout altogether.
Note this relies on the "Autorun Console Commands" mod and populates its Autorun.txt file. If you are already using this, you will likely wish to merge the file contents manually; otherwise, you can simply have this mod overwrite the blank version of the file that comes with ACC.
