This Mod has been seriously updated + combined with my Warrior RP and Paladin RP mod + my Dragonborn Empowered Shouts mod!

This mod is now meant to be installed alongside my 'Paladin of the Divines PLUS Divines Overhaul for SSE' mod....it is ESPECIALLY useful for those of you using the Paladin RP option! Not required though!

Thinking about using this, but have one question: You loose 1HP per second for 420 seconds. If you have less than 420 HP, go berserk (even if not in combat, just standing there) Does that mean at the end you just drop over dead?

Exactly! That said, this mod is obsolete...you should take a look at my Classic Roleplay mod instead.

I just want to say that I love this mod. I combined it with your Paladin of the Divines and Holy Weapons mods, True Death - A Vampire Slaying Mod by Didymus E and Bring your Silver by Alex9ndre as well as advancing the Restoration Tree in Ordinator, for one hell of an vampire/undead-slayer playthrough. I also used Artifacts - The Breton Paladin by FrankFamily for my armor and weapons to enhance the whole experience. The buffs to the undead as well as the various penalties combined with the stringent rules from the Paladin mod really forced me to strategize my style of play. It was my favorite playthrough so far. Thanks for making and sharing your mods, they've made for some great fun.

I'm glad to have made your gaming more fun. I make these mods for myself and just like to share with you guys....I don't ask for donations, because I use other guys mods and I don't pay = wouldn't be fair for me to ask for what I'm not willing to give. I do wish more people endorsed though... :P

I also put up a new Berserk Warrior Lite mod that doesn't have all the penalties that this original one has.

I love the idea behind this mod. I briefly tested it out and it was great fun, I will definitely be using it on my next playthrough. I had a few questions though:
Would you consider changing berserk to a lesser power rather than a once a day power? - I understand it would be unrealistic to go berserk 10 times a day but I feel once a day doesn't let us enjoy the awesome power enough.

Would this conflict with the "True Dragon Born" mod? - I love that mod too and it has a similar features to yours

Would you consider a non "gimped" stat version? - I get that it is to encourage the player to role play properly but I just feel like it might be a bit too harsh. I love playing a warrior but I do sometime like to go stealthy.

Anyway thank you for the mod and I look forward to updates! :)

      Your Questions:
      1) "would I consider changing berserk to a lessor power rather than a once a day power? Already done! While the Nord's Berserk is a daily Power, the Orc's Berserk IS NOW a Lesser Power = you can use it several times a day. You have a 7 minute cooldown (5 minutes when you reach lvl30) where you have 0% stamina regeneration rate (you are exhausted).

Keep in mind that I play with Vigor, where Stamina is CRITICAL for movement/defense/attack.....but if you are playing on vanilla, the 0% StaminaRate might not be a big deal!

*As for why the Orc gets Berserk as a Lesser Power, but not the Nord....well, the Nord ALSO gets 50% Frost Resist = I wanted the Orc to get a little more out of his Berserk in exchange!

**My next Update will probably give the Orc a 10 minute wait times between Berserking, but shorter times as he levels up (7 minutes at lvl30, 5 minutes at lvl 50).

      2) Will this conflict with 'True Dragon Born' mod? IF that mod alters the PC Races, then MAYBE.....if not, then you should be good.

      3) Would I consider a non "gimped" stat version? I actually have removed about 75% of the 'gimping' from this mod already. The only 4 skills that are left 'gimped' are Sneak (by about 30%), Lockpicking, Smithing (can only get up to about Exquisite without potions and full smithing enchantments), and Alchemy. Sneak/Lockpicking/Smithing are reduced a bit, but only enough to make sense....I just didn't think that a warrior type should also be a ninja, or a master at lockpicking.....I also didn't think that 5 seconds of grinding/banging on metal can make weapons/armor 2x as good! But these skills are still usable/useful (NOT alchemy though).

IF you really really really want me to, I'll make a separate file for you that un-gimps everything EXCEPT alchemy.......unfortunately, what I did to Alchemy is not so easily undone.... :(

Let me know if you are good with the changes as they are, or if you want a 3rd file that completely un-gimps everthing except Alchemy.

I just made the Orc Berserk a 'Frenzied' type Berserk like in D&D.....also, you can NOW spam it in battles to keep your Berserk bonuses lasting longer than 60seconds.

BUT, each time you activate Berserk, you get a stacking -0.5HP per second penalty for 7 minutes. Might adjust this later...

*hmmm, I might give lvl30+ orcs only a 5 minute health decay timer in a later update......as they get more skilled with their ability, makes sense it would hurt them less...

Wow thank you for the quick reply!

I think what you have done with Orcs is a great idea. Maybe my next playthrough I will try orc instead of a Nord then haha. But in seriousness I agree with you that Orcs having berserk as a lesser power makes more sense and fits better.

Hmmm I might have to try Vigor then... I keep hearing about how good it is so I'll check it out.

Yeah thats fair enough. It keeps it balanced

Giving shorter cooldowns on lvl ups is a great idea

Ok well I dont think True Dragon Born alters races just shout cooldowns and other stuff so should be ok I guess

I completely get what you're saying I was just wondering if there would ever be a version of the mod with just the powers and none of the other changes? Sort of like a race power mod but I understand thats not really what you are going for with this mod haha. Yeah don't worry about a non "gimped" version. If you ever decide to do a complete race ability overhaul though with these sorts of powers I think that would be great. Plus that way you could just "gimp" player skill gains to make someone super slow at learning certain skills.

But yeah overall great changes! This is an underrated mod and I hope it gets more attention

      Thanks! Appreciate that!

As far as Vigor goes, it adds stuff like injuries that can effect your abilities (and bandages because you can now get bleeding injuries), tactical changes (like high ground adding to your attack damage (NPCs get this advantage too), increased NPC combat intelligence (they can dodge and improved teamwork)...

But the most important change is with Stamina mechanics...now, being low on (or out of) Stamina slows you down and lowers your attack damage. Also, when you successfully block, you lose Stamina instead of Health....at least until you run out of Stamina lol.

Vigor is the best 'realism' combat mod that I've found so far.

As far as breaking my combo mod back into separate mods....well, I combined it so there would be less chance of conflicts with other mods....and right now it works really well in that regard. I'll think about it though......just occurred to me that I still have my old Warrior RP standalone mod up....it wouldn't be that hard to update it and add the Orc changes....would save me a lot of work....

      I'll think about it!

*Edit: just looked at that old mod, and it doesn't have any of the work I thought it did = I probably won't be making a separate Berserker/Barbarian mod any time soon....

I'm trying to play as a paladin, and I was wondering if I could use a mod like Ordinator to enhance the Restoration magics for him. I don't really want to use any of the other schools. Would Ordinator also cooperate with Paladin of the Divines mod? Although I haven't downloaded it yet, this looks like a really interesting mod and I cant wait to try it out. Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure, to tell you the truth.....that said, I haven't seen any complaints that Ordinator doesn't work with either this mod or my Paladin/Divine mod. So, you should be good!

*one way to find out for sure though :P

      Unfortunately, not very.

For my mod, each race has their racial passive modified (I added my custom Warrior perk). So, any mod that fiddles with racial passives will be incompatible with my mod.

*I'm about 1 day away from adding a Paladin Option to my SSE Divines Overhaul mod that will fit perfectly with this mod's Paladin RP version....so if that sort of thing tickles your fancy, enjoy!

Wait, do you mean stats like health/stamina/magicka/carryweight? Or do you mean deeper changes like to the Racial Abilities and Racial Passives?

IF you just mean stats = you SHOULD be fine.

IF you mean changes to the Racial Abilities/Passives = the mod loaded last will overwrite the one higher up on the load order.

Fantastic Mod, I really enjoy it for my barbarian build character. I always wished that Nords got a battle rage ability in the game it's like who else besides the Nords are known for being barbarians?! (And I mean traditional barbarians light armor living in the harsh north and fighting with either two handed weapons or swords and shields?!)

    I have endorsed btw.

I love playing a barbarian in D&. They are especially great in 5e. I plan on playing a Nord barbarian in Skyrim eventually and this sounds up my alley. I'd totally vouch for a 20% damage resistance idea. Kind of like how in 5e barbarians can eventually get all damage of 50% Damage Reduction.

Is there any plans to increase the amount of times you can rage per day as you level up?

As long as it is a 'Power', then the game hardcodes it 'once per day'. That said, I am thinking about making it an 'Ability' with a really long cooldown....

As for the Barbarian Damage Reduction, I am planning on a 20% Reduction from unarmed/onehanded/twohanded attacks WHILE Raging.

I am also going to add a 2% Reduction for every 5 Levels.....this is fairly close to matching what the Barbarian gets in D&.....

You know what, I am going to do this right now! Please do give me an Endorsement!

Hey paradoxnrt, is there any possibility this could be made for Oldrim too? I was thinking of trying out Oldrim again and as I've said this mod is so up my alley.

If at all possible as I'd love to try it out, thanks!
