Dark Brotherhood Enchantments Improved

This mod enhances and improves the enchantments on all Dark Brotherhood armor sets. This includes the standard "Shrouded Armor" you get when first joining, and the "Ancient Shrouded Armor" set you earn towards the end of the quest line. In addition, the "Shrouded Robes" have been significantly improved, and an all new "Ancient Shrouded Robes" set has been created.

NOTE: I've chosen these enhancements with balance in mind. Whether I have achieved that is up to you.

Don't forget to endorse if you like it!

Why this mod exists:

While the standard enchantments for the armor were acceptable, they were drastically below what could be achieved with enchanting. The shrouded Robes set on the other hand was virtually useless; carrying novice level enchantments without even adding magicka regeneration or anything noteworthy at all.
This mod seeks to improve all Dark Brotherhood gear to make it a viable set for end-game play without having to perk enchanting.

  • Shrouded Cowl: Rating increased to 14, bringing it on par with scaled armor. It now provides a 25% bonus to Alchemy and Archery.

Installation/Compatibility:

This is a very simple mod, install as normal through your mod manager or choice, or manually by extracting things into the Skyrim/data folder.

This should be compatible with all mods, as long as they don't touch the Dark Brotherhood equipment directly (texture mods are compatible).

Notes:

This is the first mod I've ever uploaded, so feedback would be greatly appreciated. I may be inclined to make similar mods for the Thieves Guild, Linwe's Set, the College of Winterhold, and a bunch of other stuff if anyone would actually be interested.

I cannot recommend enough this incredible retexture by Archet.
