The animations look amazing but I can't get them to work quite right. Even with all requirements installed, including elden rim weapon arts, the charged power attack doesn't trigger correctly. Also I'm not crazy about the dust clouds, could they be made optional?
Not really. I ended up copying the normal attack and jumping attack animations over to a regular OAR setup but I gave up on getting the charged power attacks to work correctly.
Are you guys using directional movement or vanilla? You need to set it to vanilla if you want to cast it reliably, otherwise you have a small window during the recovery phase i.e. after blocking etc.
this is the most realistic greatsword for bfco so far and i really like it. but one complaint i have about it is im only seeing 2 swing or two attacks only. is there a chance to add a third or fourth attack combo in the future ?
Hello, is it possible for you to put the list of each combo and the pinned one here please? And also the conditions to make some of them if ever there are any? I have a little trouble seeing and I don't understand how you do it in your video.
Know it's been months and you probably don't care anymore, but for posterity's sake, in case anyone else uses this mod and has the same question like I did:
I think it'll work out the box, but you'll have to change the filepath and create config JSONs to take advantage of OAR's interface and set conditions and stuff. If you want to do that and don't know how:
Open Leviathan's filepath after you download and install the mod. Keep clicking through and when you get to the animations folder with all the hkx files, create an OpenAnimationsReplacer (no spaces, exactly as typed) folder. Inside the OAR folder you just made, create a folder named after the Leviathan mod (name doesn't have to be exact, just whatever to recognize it in OAR).
Copy and paste the config.JSON from this mod's (LothricKnight) "Base Weapon" folder "...\LothricKnightGS\meshes\actors\character\animations\OpenAnimationReplacer\BaseWeapon" into the Leviathan folder you created at the end of step 1. Open the config you copied over to the Leviathan folder in Notepad++, and change "AkatoshBaseWeapon" to whatever submod name you want to show up in OAR for the Leviathan animations. Save and close.
From here, I created two more folders inside the Leviathan folder: "Greatsword" and "NOT Greatsword".
Move (don't leave the original files!) all the "2hm" hkx files from the Leviathan animations folder into "...\Leviathan Animations - Two-Handed High Stance SE\Meshes\actors\character\animations\OpenAnimationReplacer\Whatever you named Leviathan folder\Greatsword".
The cool thing you can do from here, is again copy and paste the config from this mod, this time from the "2h Base ugs" folder to your "Greatsword" folder in the Leviathan mod. Open the copied JSON in Notepad, and all you have to do from here is change the "2h Base" at the top of the file, to something like "Greatsword Movement" (again whatever you want just to recognize it). Save and close, the conditions are already exactly what you need to have the animations show up when you have a greatsword in your hands. You can of course change priority from here as well, if you already know a high enough number to override any conflicting greatsword animations that you want to set it to.
You can repeat steps 4-5 for the "2hw" hkx files and the "Not Greatsword" folder to get those animations to show up for warhammers and battleaxes. Doing the config from Notepad is a lot harder than just copying and editing directly from OAR though. Copy the Greatsword config, change the name in Notepad++, and edit the conditions in the OAR menu from Skyrim.
The author uses 2hm sheath/unsheath animatins from Dser Animation DSer Animations at Skyrim Nexus - Mods and Community. This is a LE mod so don't forget to transport the hkx files to SE versions. 作者使用 sheathDser 动画
I could not get the charge attack to work, everything looks right in OAR. Unless I'm missing something completely obvious, since this is the only mod I have that even uses the charge files. Is there a key you're supposed to press?
edit:I was able to get the NA + (HOLD SPRINT PA) to do the charge attack. but thats about it. I can't ever do it without it coming after the first NA
i want to ask is there any way i can use charge attack freely in between combos? i noticed charge attack can only be used on the first attack and holding alt after the first power attack.
