My game crashes with this mod installed, at the very first dragon fight, while  using the camera lock feature from True Directional Movement.. Is there a workaround?

Thanks for the report! I did test it out with TDM while doing the first dragon fight, but it doesn't crash on my PC. A possibility is that the ini (Configuration file for Mods etc.) from Display Tweaks that I modified has some elements in it that are not compatible with your system.
What you can do is disabling my mod and changing the ini by yourself. You can do that by going to the mod folder of Display Tweaks and searching for the SSEDisplayTweaks.ini file. After you opened the file with your editor you have to search for "DisableActorFade" and change the value from "false" to "true".

What I always wanted is a fix for the distance calculations of npcs when hitting you, that always worked bad for me when using vanilla combat animations. Do you think that could be solved some day?

In the Precision MCM you can adjust the AI Weapon Reach Offset in the Miscellaneous Tab, maybe this could help.

None of the common workarounds fixed it for me. It was probably caused by some weapon modications I added in my previous now dead modlist. Still, with so many people having this kind of issues when choosing a vanilla combat style, if a generous modder would tackle this common conflicts it would be really neat. MCO is great and all, but I think such an essential mod should have more universal support.

What line did you change? Is it "DisableActorFade=true"

Yes, there is a bug where Dragons fade out when you get near them.

sometimes my own character get invisible as well in some narrow corridors. is it because of sse display tweaks?
edit: damn it must be because of the other setting DisablePlayerFade. I set both to true.
this is bugging me for so long, thanks for fixing it if that's the case.

I have my personal edits to make SSE Display Tweaks works correctly with everything in my own 4K+ mods assembly.

So, which lines in INI file I need to edit by myself?
