Not quite a bug, more a missed patching opportunity? With both Adamant and Constellations installed, in game there are 2 copies of Insightful Enchanter in the Enchanting tree. A look at it in xEdit reveals that Constellations overwrites Adamants Jewelry Enchanter perk with a version/copy of Insightful Enchanter. Adamants own version of this perk is untouched by Constellations. Imgur link with images.
I did notice that I'm accruing Hand to Hand XP when in werewolf form. Based on prior patch notes from Adamant Hand to Hand this seems unintentional / was fixed in that mod a while back, but seems reintroduced here.
im having an issue where even with my entire perk tree level and all perks bought i still only do 9 unarmed damage ive tried everything i can think of would really appreciate it if you could help.
Love it, but man getting rid of Security is a bummer. Leveling pickpocketing in vanilla is brutal and *so* cheesy, just quicksaving and quickloading over and over, pickpocketing everyone in sight for worthless items until you can do it semi reliably.
With the combined tree you could at least level it to a decent level through just lockpicking, then start pickpocketing when you were more confident you wouldn't be caught. Also led to less cheesy quicksaving as progressing it felt less like a grind.
I wonder how complex it would be to re-revert Pickpocketing and Lockpicking to a single tree, then maybe doing a Wayfarer ala Skyre/PerMa or even Unarmored to keep Stealth filled out?
I hadn't even thought of that, I'd love a Wayfarer tree, PerMa was my go-to back in the day! Unarmored would be great too, that sounds like a no-brainer.
just stopping back by here to say that after trying to do it myself, I don't think it's possible, or at least it's far too complex for me. Because of the way the SimonRim team handled Hand To Hand (by renaming the vanilla Lockpicking tree, pushing all the lockpicking skills to the pickpocket tree, and creating new perks in the lockpicking tree that give the HTH effects), combined with the way that Constellations did it (by actually adding in a new perk tree into the vanilla menu), the best i can come up with is to revert all changes this mod makes to lockpicking, pickpocketing & HTH, but that method leaves us with 2 different hand to hand trees in the menu. I lack the technical knowledge that was used to make Constellations, unfortunately. The best option I can see would be to (politely) ask the author of Constellations to make a separate version of his mod that just leaves out the hand to hand tree.
So I was browsing around after looking at another mod called Bruiser - Hand to Hand Skill when I found your patch for Constellations. It was an instant download. Out of curiosity, do you consider your patch feature complete, or will other Simonrim Addons be incorporated? For example, the official Injury Integration Addon for Starfrost.
I'm so sad this requires Blade and Blunt. I'm not hating on it, it's just not my preferred combat overhaul as an MCO user. I might have to bit the bullet for this though.
There are other alternatives to be honest. The blade and blunt requirements are a bummer for anyone who prefers to handle their combat piece by piece instead of under one giant AIO like b&b
B&B isn't bad for MCO, I used it for a little while and it was generally enjoyable. However, I do have some grievances with it. The main thing is that I don't like the stagger system in it, I prefer a poise based system because it doesn't require me to power attack to stagger an opponent. The MCO movesets that I like to use have slower power attack chains than vanilla. I found that after I staggered an opponent, they would recover too quickly for me to take advantage. Combined with Adamant's weapon perks that make you deal way more damage on power attacks, it felt like power attacks were the only viable attack option, so I found myself just building a lot of stamina and spamming power attacks.
Also, the damage in general just felt like it was turned up to 11. I understand that one of the main selling points of B&B is to make combat deadlier, but I felt forced into heavy armor builds because in light armor I would die in 2 hits most of the time while playing on adept difficulty. I didn't feel like there were enough benefits of using light armor to warrant that level of squishiness. Heavy armor felt strictly better in all builds. My preferred combat overhaul right now is Plus Combat.
Also, thanks for removing the B&B requirement, but it seems I still can't use this because I'm playing on v1.6.640 and CSF 3.0 requires 1.6.1170. A good chunk of SKSE based mods I use still haven't been updated for the latest version, so I'm gonna hold off on updating for now.
CSF 3.1 and therefore Constellations and this mod all work on 1.6.640 if anyone was wondering btw. I got this mod working perfectly. The mod descriptions suggest otherwise, but it definitely works.

Rant over, sorry, but seriously thanks for this!

What can we do? thank you
Edit: Changed it, Blade and Blunt is no longer a requirement.
