Changelogs
Version 2
Improved and optimized mesh. Finer and more realistic mesh, x7 reduced tris count. Completely new textures created from scratch.
I have a very large modlist. This list contains replacers for vanilla shields, diversification mods (for example like Sentinel), mods that change the position of the shield (Shields on back), etc. Plus various patches for these mod. I've encountered a very annoying problem. The heavy iron shield looks disgusting. There's definitely a problem with the UV-mapping here:
I spent a lot of time trying to find the reason. Trying to figure out which mod on my list is causing this problem. I could not determine the reason, and therefore decided to replace the "shieldheavy.nif" with my own model. I just placed my mod below all the other mods that edit "shieldheavy.nif" and it solved the problem by replacing the ugly model with my model.
I decided to share this with you. If you have the same problem as me, you can solve this problem in a similar way. Or just use my mod as a heavy iron shield replacer. The choice is yours. 🙃
Mesh and textures only. No ESP. Safe to install/uninstall at any time
I hope you will like it. Endorsement is appreciated 😊 If you would like to support me:
