  • Follower Perk System

    Hello.
    Up to now NPCs/followers could be given a bunch of perks, but they had them right at the beginning at level 1 (or whatever level they started with). That made them easily overpowered at the beginning of the game. On the other hand, later in the game, it would have been nice to add some more perks to make the NPCs stronger at higher levels. This is now possible, even without scripting.

    At first you have to think about, what perks your follower/NPC should get. I read somewhere, it should not be more than 20, so your NPC/follower doesn't get too strong... therefore I decided to give Belrand a new perk every 5 levels. I still don't know, if this is well balanced or not. It will need a lot of in game testing... maybe adding some non-fighting perks makes sense here... <...
