I know this isn't a game breaking issue, but does any one know how to fix the issue where the dark glasses are somehow more see-through then the light ones? If the uploader doesn't have the time to do it (which I could absolutley understand) could anyone else maybe explain to me how to do that for myself? Thanks in advance!
Hey, in case you're interested I tried to convert the glasses to be darker in SSE. I first tried editing the glass meshes as I read that the lighting effects in the SE are what caused the strange look. Anyway the meshes seem to have the correct alpha properties for glass. I then unpacked the textures. The textures for the glass are simple semi-transparent color gradients. I remade the textures using gimp (never used it before) taking the colors from the originals and just increasing the alpha values (= transparency). That works to make the glasses visible again.
I cannot say if they look like the originals in LE, and maybe I ended up making them a little too opaque, but at least they look like they are there.
Late to the game I know, and I'm hoping you keep up with your Nexus. Is there anyway you can reply with an exact guide on how you did this? I've gotten to the editing and resaving the file, but it doesn't replace the file, essentially just makes a new one.
Late to the game, I know. but does anyone know why the black colored lens are extremely clear? Like there is no color on them? I've tried using an ENB for it as well but nothing seems to work or make them darker.
I can't tell you how much I'm enjoying this addition in game. It's one of those things you didn't know you needed until you see it and then you can't live without it.
I love the idea of this, but find the crafting pretty unbalanced for how easy they are to make and how much value they have and they also look too bright with my enb. Shame I haven't seen anyone try to do an unofficial update, though the balance issues are almost certainly an easy xedit fix.

Edit: a patch exists. Nevermind.
