    The Xbox port is NOT SUPPORTED by the official development team here on Nexus. The port is being curated and supported by Rhaella on the Icecreamassassin Mods Discord server in the Xbox support channel.
     
    Skyrim AE
    Legacy works on Skyrim v1.5x (SE) and Skyrim v1.6x (AE) just fine with no patches or updates needed. STOP ASKING IF IT WORKS ON AE! If you are using Creation Club, the only thing you have to make sure is to use the correct version of those patches found on the Legacy CC patches page.

    So I previously mentioned this to the rest of my team, but now I’m bringing it here to you as well to make it official. I’ll cut right to the chase. I am going to be diving in and working on V6 of Legacy of the Dragonborn in an effort to meet the 10 year anniversary of Legacy come next March! That’s the incentive but the reason is because I have hit a brick wall with Odyssey and I need to strip back to basics once again and embrace the thing that brought us to this point to begin with, and hopefully with some more energy and excitement I’ll be able to once again drive the team for Odyssey to finish up what we have in progress. It’s just been too much like a job in recent months and I’ve been feeling that passion suffer for it and become harder and harder to recapture with every spurt of burnout that has occurred over the last year.     Firstly to kick off this new development cycle I have already overhauled the airship and I think everyone will be pretty excited about this one. Come V6, you will be able to use the ship’s wheel on the airship to open your map and select ANY map marker you wish to fly to. When you load in at the new location, you’ll be on deck and ready for adventure. Use the rope ladder to pop down to the ground, loot that dungeon and fill up the cargo hold of your ship, all the while dragging your follower on and off and inside the ship like never before (currently for the vanilla follower framework; will need to consider other frameworks as well potentially). This new flight system will mean maximum compatibility with all new lands mods and anything that adds a new map marker for that matter. Patches will only be required if the airship needs to have its default arrival adjusted due to clipping or accessibility, and that literally will only require dropping a single directional marker near the location and that’s it! No more building static airship locations, no more script attaching or linking half a dozen references all over the place. One simple universal system and it’s much more slim and streamlined mechanically speaking.

    In addition you will be able to activate your course plotting from inside the ship cabin’s map room and travel directly from inside! This will put you up on deck at the new location, saving you a couple load screens and giving even greater convenience. The map room is also now equipped with a failsafe device if you find the ship in a location where it cannot be flown out from or malfunctions for whatever reason. Using the device will put you and the ship back at the Explorers dock ready to go.

    Lastly the airship beacon will now simply have two functions: Return ship to the Explorers dock, or summon ship to your location. The ship will then find the closest map marker location and fly to that spot within a few hours!

    So all in all I’m pretty excited about this overhaul of the airship system as well as many of the other things I’ve already implemented for V6 as well as the long list of plans we have in store. Just a few days in and I’m feeling a lot more like my old creative self.

    My English is not very good, please understand. Hello author, I have created a spell patch that teleports back and forth from outside to the Legacy of the Dragonborn SSE safe house, allowing you to return to your original location by using the spell again. May I ask if you allow me to publish it?

      ONLY if you look at the dwemer compass script in Legacy and implement a similar fail safe for certain events. Legacy has it's own "teleport" fast travel option in the compass with hard coded bypasses for certain events so that you don't pop into the safehouse when you are supposed to walk through the front gate to encounter certain events. If you can make it function the same way where it will instead drop you outside the gate if certain quests are running, then I will OK it. Otherwise no.

      I have added a spell book to the bedside table of the safe house. Players can only obtain this book and learn spells by entering the safe house through normal mission paths. So it should not affect the operation of the task.

      omg.... NO, you are clearly not understanding me... Players should NOT be able to TELEPORT into the safehouse using your spell if certain quests from Legacy are running. PLEASE LOOK AT THE CODE for the dwemer compass for context on what conditions to apply to your teleport.

    need some guidance, i have almost 200 exhibits but i still have not received the key to the safehouse, i have spoken to the curator about building a guild house outside the museum is this quest conflicting with the delivery of the key? any advice?
    waiting doesnt spawn messenger.

      Waiting will NEVER spawn the courier. He is fired by changing location. Are you using Inigo? if so, check the first issue on the FAQ. If not, still check the first issue just in case.

    i think i broke Dragonborn gallery quest. i am using alternate start and i became a relic hunter. got the letter, read it, and proceed to ignore going to the gallery and explored skyrim. eventually i went to Silent Moon Camp and got the artifact BEFORE meeting Auryen. i eventually went to solitude and i expected him to do the tour of the place. this did not happen, when i first enter he was just walking around like i already met him. the quest still tells me to "meet Auryen" but it didnt update the quest once i exhausted his dialog options.

      i could do a work around and "complete" the quest through console command but i want to restart the quest and have him give me the keys to my safehouse

      You either A) are playing a really old version of Legacy, B) have old versions of the moonpath patch or Guildmaster Relic hunter addon, or C) have been using console commands you shouldn't because the ring DOES NOT enable until after you talk to him. Only solution is to roll back and either avoid the ring or talk to him first. In an older version (like years old), the box was accidentally not marked as initially disabled, but I can confirm that it is in fact set correctly and won't enable until the appropriate later stage.

      im using Guildmaster relic hunter patch 2.0.3. LOTDB 5.6.5, . me getting the ring jumped the quest from stage 10 to stage 32. i'll just do a new save, thankfully my playthrough wasnt that deep. ive been just collecting my fellowship of followers and exploring Falkreath as a thane.

      ok, I'll double check the relic hunter addon then before V6 is released to make sure it's not enabling the box early.

    is there a list of unique items with conditions i can be replicated at the museum workbench?

      Almost everything has a replica, and what is required is that you either have the item in your inventory or in the case of quest items, you have HAD them at one point. There is no list that I'm aware of.

    @ icecreamassassin I can't find the option to message you directly here on nexus, so i decided to post my question here. With the Dev Aveza, is there anyway to remove or bypass the fps driven movement function of the ship. I've been unable to reach the required fps and the ship literally will not move for me in player control mode. Its something like a minimum of fifty fps for manual pilot mode to be able to function.

      Yeah there is, just don't install the Dev Aveza stand alone mod or Legacy patch. Legacy has a static travel version. Also even with the patch and mod, one side of the ship wheel is live flight and the other is fast travel.

      Also posting here is the correct thing to do, don't PM mod authors support questions directly, we prefer them on the comment page (or on our discord servers if we have them). Thanks.

    hi i have a crash when i try to read a book called "broken diamonds" and suspect this mod to be the reason the book exists

    edit: it seems it might not be this exact book thats causing the crash, sorry for bothering

      Often if books are crashing it's because the textures are corrupted. Re-downloading Legacy usually fixes that. If it doesn't then you likely have another mod overwriting the textures of the books and those are incorrect.

    Um, Hi (Again), Im here to ask if I could have your permission to tinker around with the mod? I'm trying to learn more about the creation kit and *possibly* makes for unofficial (or official if you want) patches, most likely not, but unless I ask, I will NOT upload any of my tinkering. This would be purely for learning purposes.

    Hi! I've got a few "buglets"  I only mention due to the new version comming: Some displays (exspecially in the hall of wonder) don't take the "original" Armor but only copys. Language shouldn't be a problem because that just "deco" for us humans, right? Because these are mostly named german.  The Hall of Secrets is doing the same.
    The other thing is that sometimes the Legacy NPCs are not takling with me or rather I've got to go out of the conversion and  try again.

      Language shouldn't matter. The Hall of wonders is 100% not my concern, it's entirely Jelidity's business and if she has the time or desire to update anything, you need to bring that up with her.

      Language shouldn't be a concern, but I do not support translations in any way because they CAN cause conflicts if not done properly. Some displays will only take replicas because they are quest item turn in items so you should not be displaying the original.

    Any chance well see any standalone Knights of the Nine armor? I use novlus and don't want to break my whole skyrim. So Im not sure if its possible to get the armor at all.

      No.

      Using Legacy isn't going to break Novlus if you use a Novlus list that has legacy accounted for. Take any issues to them to resolve.

    Hi! Just in case you don't know, there is a stone wall on the second floor of the hall of heroes with a Coming Soon! sign. However, the option for me to place the Sword of Ancient Tongues shows up. I wanted to mention it in case you weren't aware. Its a lovely mod, and I appreciate how much effort you (all) put into it! :)

      Oh yeah, it's that way because you get the sword before the rest of the display and without having the marker there, you can't get the sword back if you sort it.
