    The Xbox port is NOT SUPPORTED by the official development team here on Nexus. The port is being curated and supported by Rhaella on the Icecreamassassin Mods Discord server in the Xbox support channel.
     
    Skyrim AE
    Legacy works on Skyrim v1.5x (SE) and Skyrim v1.6x (AE) just fine with no patches or updates needed. STOP ASKING IF IT WORKS ON AE! If you are using Creation Club, the only thing you have to make sure is to use the correct version of those patches found on the Legacy CC patches page.

    So I previously mentioned this to the rest of my team, but now I’m bringing it here to you as well to make it official. I’ll cut right to the chase. I am going to be diving in and working on V6 of Legacy of the Dragonborn in an effort to meet the 10 year anniversary of Legacy come next March! That’s the incentive but the reason is because I have hit a brick wall with Odyssey and I need to strip back to basics once again and embrace the thing that brought us to this point to begin with, and hopefully with some more energy and excitement I’ll be able to once again drive the team for Odyssey to finish up what we have in progress. It’s just been too much like a job in recent months and I’ve been feeling that passion suffer for it and become harder and harder to recapture with every spurt of burnout that has occurred over the last year.     Firstly to kick off this new development cycle I have already overhauled the airship and I think everyone will be pretty excited about this one. Come V6, you will be able to use the ship’s wheel on the airship to open your map and select ANY map marker you wish to fly to. When you load in at the new location, you’ll be on deck and ready for adventure. Use the rope ladder to pop down to the ground, loot that dungeon and fill up the cargo hold of your ship, all the while dragging your follower on and off and inside the ship like never before (currently for the vanilla follower framework; will need to consider other frameworks as well potentially). This new flight system will mean maximum compatibility with all new lands mods and anything that adds a new map marker for that matter. Patches will only be required if the airship needs to have its default arrival adjusted due to clipping or accessibility, and that literally will only require dropping a single directional marker near the location and that’s it! No more building static airship locations, no more script attaching or linking half a dozen references all over the place. One simple universal system and it’s much more slim and streamlined mechanically speaking.

    In addition you will be able to activate your course plotting from inside the ship cabin’s map room and travel directly from inside! This will put you up on deck at the new location, saving you a couple load screens and giving even greater convenience. The map room is also now equipped with a failsafe device if you find the ship in a location where it cannot be flown out from or malfunctions for whatever reason. Using the device will put you and the ship back at the Explorers dock ready to go.

    Lastly the airship beacon will now simply have two functions: Return ship to the Explorers dock, or summon ship to your location. The ship will then find the closest map marker location and fly to that spot within a few hours!

    So all in all I’m pretty excited about this overhaul of the airship system as well as many of the other things I’ve already implemented for V6 as well as the long list of plans we have in store. Just a few days in and I’m feeling a lot more like my old creative self.

    Looking forward to trying V6, Legacy of the Dragonborn is already very stable. I hope that v6 is also stable and does not bring many errors.

      Sarcastic response aside, Legacy is 10 years old and has been supported every day of that entire decade, what would lead you to believe it would start getting buggy now, or that we'd not at least iron out the bugs over the course of a few followup updates? lol

      I'm waiting to start my modlist of 1000 mods for a long game, I don't start it by waiting for LotD V6. That's why I'm afraid that by not waiting for certain patches that fix a bug and having to start a new game.

      Okay, thank you very much. I proposed to me to translate Legacy of the Dragonborn V6 into Spanish from 0 in a single day after its release :)

      sorry, who is "he"? we don't need another Spanish translation; there already is one on Nexus and I'm hoping it will probably be updated. Also if you are thinking you can do that in 1 day, you must be using machine translation so we would not want you to translate it; most automated translations are garbage.

      Sorry, the mistake is mine, not a translator's. These are very stressful days for me, I also make mistakes writing in Spanish. As for my translations, sometimes I use an automatic translation program, however, I always check that the sentences make sense. There is nothing wrong with that, everyone has their own time and this is a non-profit thing. Yesterday I finished translating Land of Vominheim... More than 2000 lines in only two days. I spent more than 10 hours between the two days to translate. If you have any doubts about my translations I invite you to try them. I guarantee you that the quality of my translations are the best because I used to use translations from other colleagues and they were full of errors.

      right and light I said, there is already a translation for Legacy. No sense in making another if they are going to update for V6. So maybe check with them first to see if they are planning on updating theirs before doing one yourself. If they are updating, then I won't OK making another.

      I contacted linqueo in case he wants help, but he hasn't shown any signs of life for a while now. In my translation rules I clearly say that I do not translate already translated mods as long as they are updated. If this is not the case and linqueo does not do the translation into Spanish and you give me permission, I guarantee you a quality translation. Thank you very much for your attention.

    im having issues with supported mods(oblivion artifact pack, skyrim sewers 4, wintersun, immersive weapons, and immersive armors) the displays arent showing. i did download them after already starting the game. i looked at the faq page and used fallrim script cleaner and cleaned the scripts like it said but it still does not work.

      Cleaned the scripts like it said?!?  Not sure what you are referring to, but you should not be trying to change your load order on an active game.  Once you have started play, don't change anything unless you are fine with starting over.  At this point, you might be able to ignore it and play without (although adding that much content isn't likely to work well), or if you want the displays start over.

      The only mention of Falrim tools is in relation to the displays failing to stick back to the wall. You need to read the instructions, properly install ALL patches needed and start a new game. If you add or remove things or fail to add patches at the start of the game, it's likely things will not work properly.

      i figured out part of the isseue. the faq page was an outdated version of the current one. it never said to use falrim specifically but just a script cleaner in general. my other issue was an outdated patch that didnt get updated like it was supposed to. also ive changed load orders multiple times and never had an issue yet. the only reason i change it is if im adding something new tho.

      Adding things can be touchy too though, especially if they are not put right on the end of the load order. if a mod being added alters script properties, then it won't work to add it mid game. So just be aware of that, you've been lucky so far, but unless you know the ins and outs of how a mod is built, it will be hard to know.

    I'm having an issue where a lot of the paintings in the upper Hall of Heroes have disappeared, and when I try to activate the space where they were, nothing visually changes but I receive a painting in my inventory. I can spam click to keep getting unlimited paintings, but they don't appear on the wall. The weird part is that this affected about 75% of the paintings (I had the entire upper gallery filled), but the rest work just fine. Any advice on how to fix other than reloading?

      That sounds like you deinstalled a mod that affects the Displays mid playthrough?

      yeah you should probably come to the discord server and post a support ticket. Sounds like bad meshes probably but we'd need to see your load order.

    I have a problem with starting the quest Much Ado About Snow Elves. It is said, that it starts after I completed the Quest with the Lost Expedition in Nchuand Zel. 24 Hours later a Courier will come and give me a note from Calcelmo. That was when I was 30 or so. Now I am 62 and there has never been a note. I know that it says, that he needs someone to bring him a dwemer arrow or something like this. I already did this once with another character but now it doesn't happen with my new one. I know that I completed the Thief Guild Quests when I got that Snow Elves Quest the first time.

      Do you got some other Messages from the Courier between the Level 30 and 62?

      Your courier might be stuck off in the ether somewhere (this has happened to me before). I had to use the moveto player command to put him next to me and he gave me four or five letters.

      Now that you say it... nope. There was not one single courier that came to me... strange. I've read the other solution ravenrising wrote but the damage is already done and I started a brandnew game.

      If it's any consolation, that a vanilla issue (Legacy uses the vanilla courier).  Rather than moving him to you, better to save, move to him to locate him, reload the save, and make your way there normally.

      Your issue is likely similar to or caused by the Inigo issue. Look at the FAQ. If you haven't gotten any notes at all, then the courier is blocked by how another mod has set up a change location event.

    I installed this using MO and it's showing the version as 4/14/2024 instead of 5.0. Any idea why this may be or what I can do to correct it? I tried re-downloading and re-installing to make sure I had the right file but it remains as 4/14/2024.

      You didn't unzip it, did you?  Probably you know to simply tell MO2 to 'Install From File' and point to wherever you downloaded to, but we do have folks occasionally try to unzip the files and then add them to MO2.  So just in case.

      My MO2 did this for a different mod (still zipped) when installing from file instead of letting MO2 download it....suggest you report on MO2's bug tracking if it keeps happening.  I haven't as I haven't had a chance to check if it would happen twice.

      haha no I understand. I work in IT, I know how people are lol! No, I did not unzip it. It also has an error though that's it marked for deletion but I seem to have at-least some of the content (the warehouse supply crates in Whiterun so far). Although looking at the other post, it seems to be an error on MO2's side so I'll report it to them. Thanks for the support!

      1 Drag and drop the file to MO2 download pane.
        Right click file and select query info.
        If the mod is already installed, you'll have to reinstall.
        Select replace.
      2 Open the mod in explorer and open the meta file.
        Change the version number and the newest version to the proper version.
        Save the file.
        On the top of MO2 click the refresh button.
      3 Right click the mod in MO2 select information.
        Select Nexus info.
        On the top right change the Nexus version to the right one.

    I'm on Ongar's request to create a weapon for him.. At the forge in White run, I can't find unique weapon for him.. Horker stuff weapon maybe?? Any help here??

    Hey, do you guys already have an approximate release date for the update? I remember the blog post saying around March or April:)

    Hello firstly love this mod and am very much looking ford to v6 when its released.
    I'm just wondering if v6 will break any of the endorsed compatibility patches or if an updated version of them will be released at the same time.
    If I'm supposed to ask this on that mods page ill move this there.

      There won't really be a way to know exactly which patches will need to change until v6 is done (other than any containing airship stops; those will have to change).  But the official patches from Legacy's patch page are intended to be ready at the same time v6 drops.  Any other patches will have to be handled by the authors that made them (endorsed or not).
