THIS is exactly what I needed! After playing Fallout 76 I got used to this (except when enemies nearby, of course) and since fast Travel is simply magic...why not???
Ya running into issues myself from time to time. Will boot up CK and see what I can find out.
Edit: Given the way I went about making this mod it can run into issues when other mods are removed or added. Typically a reinstall or disable/re-enable fixes it. I would also recommend making sure this is at the end of your load order. In the future I would hope to convert this mod to a script that makes the change quickly every time you enter a cell or load a save to make sure other mods don't mess with it but unfortunately I don't have the knowledge at this point in time of how to do it. If someone else can do it or has done it I encourage you to support them but this is just something I slapped together with the Creation Kit and figured others would might have use for it.
Jorrvasker Resident's Quarters is locked from being able to fast travel from there. Though, the main building of Jorrvasker works. Thanks alot for the mod by the way, no more using help commands to find the IDs for cells so I can coc to. Gamechanger this is.
Hello, great mods, I found some locations from where I was unable to fast travel, but could it be because of open city ? For now I remember "Understone Keep" and "Breezehome", there also was an inn from a little town but I don't remember its name.
Unsure how compatibility with open city works. Open Cities is nice but I often avoid it because I breaks a lot of the AI(even though that isn't related).
Could you clarify your warning about fast traveling and quests? You said, "Don't fast travel during quest sequences" and "use caution not to fast travel during quests". I always have on ongoing quests in my journal. Do you mean we should go to the Journal and uncheck any quests and then fast travel? What exactly does this mean?
Sorry, haven't been around in a while. If it is still useful information to you or anyone else: If an interior involves an ongoing quest I would recommend not to fast travel out of that location. An example might be a door closing behind you and then you fast travel and now you have no way to return later. Another is where you might complete a quest inside an interior and then on the way out or when you load outside an NPC confronts you and gives you a new quest. Obviously that second one is a little harder to catch and the mod isn't designed to prevent you from fast traveling from those locations. The reason for that is mainly that I do not know which quests those are and if different choices would lead to different results, just to much to keep track of. A good rule of thumb is if a chain of quests brought you to an interior, a guild quest for example, don't fast travel out.
The Falkreath Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary isn't able to be fast traveled from :/ I haven't gotten to Dawnstar however. Haven't found any others so far :3
Edit: Nvm I found the issue. A mod I made, for some reason, removed the effects of this mod. I moved this one below it and fixed it.
Mainly did it for me because it loading screens can be annoying. Just threw it out there to save others the 45 minutes of clicking a check box for every interior cell. Hope it works for everyone because it seems like some of these don't always work. Made it of for Fallout 4 to a while back. It seems ever Bethesda game can benefit from it.

I really missed fast traveling from indoors since the mod that I was using, "Unlimited Fast Travel", hasn't been updated for AE.
