There is a problem that has troubled me for a long time. When NPCs use two-handed axes or two-handed hammers, if they are bashed and get staggered, they will play very strange animation, see the screenshots. I don't think anyone would hold a weapon like this in reality. After checking with OAR, I found that even if the NPCs use battleaxe or warhammer, they still use the recoiltimed animation of greatsword. I checked the vanilla BSA file and it contains the correct animation but for some reason they are not being called correctly. So I tried using OAR to rematch the aniamtion, and it seemed to work pretty well.
What this module does is very simple. It replaces 2hm_recoiltimed.hkx with 2hw_reoiltimed.hkx under certain conditions. I set its priority to a negative number so it should have good compatibility.
I finally learned how to use gif to show these things :)
