Is there a way to skip over some perks? "Imposing Presence" perk that makes animals neutral makes fighting them simply boring(also, it trivializes hunger mechanics). I want to use further perks that are locked behind it.
Yeah I totally agree with this. "Imposing Presence" actually hurts the game loop, makes animals very boring encounters and makes the game significantly easier. Lore-wise, it also makes no sense for non-Bosmer races to have this at all in their athletics tree, unless maybe this perk was part of an animal taming custom skill. At the very least this should be the final perk in the branch it belongs to rather than half-way through as then it can become optional.
Anyway, as a temporary solution, you can either disable just this one perk in your current playthrough by using the console command “player.removeperk PERKCODE”. You can find the perkcode by entering into the console “help imposing 0” and then use the 8-character code next to the “PERK: “ tag. For playthroughs where you have not yet unlocked the perk and wish to skip it, you can also do the same sort of thing and go straight for the perk that comes after it with “player.addperk PERKCODE” instead.
+1. Making this perk optional by moving it further up the tree would basically fix the only major gripe I have with this mod. Not being attacked by animals works fine as a blessing with a time limit (like in vanilla) but having it as a permanent perk just trivializes the flow of the game completely. There are some non-optional perks in the vanilla trees that block access to some of the more useful perks further down the line as well, but they are inconsequential at most and are more of a waste of a perk point than something that makes the gameplay significantly less enjoyable as soon as you take it.
Hi Parapets. How could this be made to work with ESLA? The new Constellation skills do not appear correctly in ESLA's skills menu. What can I do to add those?
Use scrolls and staves. You get Sorcery Skill XP equivalent to the value (as in, monetary worth) of the Scroll. I'm unsure how Staff EXP is scaled, but I assume it's similar EXP to the spell the Staff is casting.
Yes, but they're not balanced. Hand-to-Hand and Light Armor build makes you deal so much damage as Unarmed you don't even need weapons. Similar with Sorcery and Enchanting - Staves and Scrolls become the best way to mow down larger groups of enemies.
