    For anyone who want to download this mod. THIS mod is A's's !!!!. too complicated and buggy. Better use Dybill for item placement. Much more simple and efficient.

      I assume you mean Dybill's Positioner SSE which is a great re-implementation of SKSE-based item positioning and a massive improvement over all of the buggy ports of Jaxonz Positioner. But note that it does require SKSE and only works in interior locations.

      This mod is not more complicated or buggy, it simply uses a different set of controls and options which aren't as similar to Jaxonz's Positioner and other SKSE-based item placement mods developed for the original Skyrim (including my own Storage Helpers mod). This one is limited to what I could accomplish using original game functions because I developed this long before SKSE was available for SSE.

      P.S. Your second sentence (with far too many punctuation marks) is needlessly rude. And if you're going to recommend some other mod, at least have the decency to put a link and mention the actual limitations of the other mod compared to this one (i.e. only moving things in interior spaces) as well as giving its specific advantages (i.e. changing motion type of all items in a cell) and not just your subjective view that its better.

    is there any way to make this use the directional keys instead of player movement keys?

      No, this is about positioning things. Keeping you from activating things would be a something completely different.

      OK thanks for confirming that. I'll look for a separate solution to that step. Your mod gets me 90% of the way there, so thank you very much for making it available!

    Wow My friend the Fact it still Works that good is Impressive just used it to fill a gap in the ground off the Outskirts of whiteruns Mills whit some rocks.

    I cannot get menu options to give me any option other "done". Only once was I able to get the other options to appear and I've spent a good hour messing with this. I just want to copy and paste mannequins.

      Sorry, but you can't copy mannequins. They are actually a collection of at least three different objects with links between them. I could duplicate the individual parts, but without them being linked together properly the don't work and I can't create the links via scripting, even with SKSE. It was a giant pain just implementing the ability to move them around in a single location.

    Thank you so much. I've been using Jaxonz, but fewer dependencies on SKSE is always wonderful.

    thanks so much for this mod <3 I cannot not go without it because I also have hearthfire extended which gets me to create my own furniture for empty rooms haha <3 it is a little wonky when it comes to try move those straw targets in kids rooms but thats about it haha

    Does not let me select my Right Hand for the 'Power," it only toggles it on or off, and I did not get the manual/book when I first selected/used the power. It simply never gave me any manual to read at all, and it just fails to work.

    I see the spinning orange cube in the prelim window for the power selected, cool graphic btw, but when I "cast" the spell with my LEFT hand ONLY, since it will NOT appear or let me select the right hand, I NEVER 'see' the orange cube to highlight any object regardless of where I look/stand in both 1st/3rd person view, but it still uses/decreases my magicka when I cast the 'spell/power" so it takes away some magicka (without normal indicator of how much it will use given my skill/rank/level.)

    I need to move a mannequin in my Proudspire house that appears half 'inside' the fishtank I purchased from what's his name in Blue Palace!  I don't even know where the mannequin came from, probably the 1 to make ProudSpire upgrade to a 6-kid bedroom, or another mod though I don't use/have any mod that edits ProudSpire in any way, but that's not the real problem, I've tried using the 'Power' elsewhere and still get the same result. (No book, no orange cube)

    Frustrated, had to uncheck the mod from my MO2 load - until someone can help me. Appreciate any feedback.

      The spells of this mod do NOT cost any magicka to use. If casting them is using your magicka then some other mod is altering them or the casting mechanics in some way.

      When you use the power (and don't have a item in the crosshairs) you should get the selection cube and a single spell equipped in your right hand. While casting the spell the cube should move in response to your movements and the direction you are looking.

      Hi - and Thank You much,FINALLY SOLVED THE PROBLEM -  To "USE" the power "Decorator Helper" It was the "Right Button" 
      
      to USE the Power, then the 'Book' appeared, and Left/Right control just a learning curve now.

      That mannequin is still proving extremely difficult to MOVE or LOCK in place, I can highlight it, move it, pivot it, adjust its size, but when I try to MAKE IT STAY where I move it, it just JUMPS back to another or a different location - floating 'above' the pedestal, - and that is a separate piece, so moving the pedestal underneath it 'stays' in place, but then I can't move or 'link' both together or "LOCK" them/either in place.  I've tried 'exiting the manor' then come back in, and it still 'moves' back to that 'other' location, or 'nearby' to another location. (Maybe I have to exit to desktop?  - not sure)  Very strange/bizarre problems.  I do get the copy/store option, or delete option, but no LOCK. (Not sure why)
      I did get it OUT of the aquarium - so yay for that - at least, so that's solved, but maybe it's just a learning curve on how to use the angling quirks, or it's just a Skyrim quirk.  The other aggravating major quirk is, while I'm 'moving' the mannequin, or pedestal, one of the 'kids' keeps interrupting with - "oh I see you did that spell, can you make me invisible?"  And I've even run into the 'kid' somehow being 'selected' upstairs in his bedroom, sleeping on his bed, and when I moved the pedestal or mannequin, or resized it, it applied that to the kid not the mannequin, so he ended up half inside the bed, or half under the bed! Fortunately, I had a save PRIOR to any change, and was able to recover from that glitch.

      My second paragraph may have been misleading.  I never see the spinning cube show up at all, it's no where near, on or around the object (or in mid-air or on/near any object). I'm trying to eventually select and move the mannequin inside the aquarium tank -it's funny, and fish do still swim inside the tank, but looks absurd.
      Also confused by you saying "use" the power. How do I 'use' the power, it's supposed to be casting a "spell" right?  ( I press the left/right trigger to cast a spell - using Xb controller and can type on keyboard ) but where/how do I 'use' a power - ie, 'shouts' defaulted to LB and RB on controller. 
      I have moved around to see if orange cube "appears" in a different cell/area, thinking I'm too close to the object(s), but nothing, no orange cube shows up anywhere to be seen so I can't 'select' anything, nor does any spell window show up for me to do anything. Tried diff area of Proudspire manor, still nothing. 
      I have no other 'spell' mods installed, I have Skyrim SE ver 1.6.640.0 on Steam, Mod Manager 2, SKSE, USSEP, 30 mods (mostly player houses, follower skill control, road signs-things like that) and Diverse Wwlfs, More WWlfs, Fluffworks, TKAAR and RS children, Hearthfire Multi adopt - have 2 adopted right now, and all my other mods work great!

     I have to press Z multiple times before the menu appears / the spell start working — it makes a sound as in when Dragonborn power is recharging. Also, I don't have "Unlock" button after I lock the object. 

    Does anyone had the same problems? What might it be?

    P.S.
    I'm playing the Aniversary Edition of skyrim.

    EDIT: I've found the answer from the previous posts. Regarding the recharging, it has 5 sec cooldown. You need to use TGM (god mode) in a console to reduce it to 0 sec. If you don't want to lose the ability to get achievements, there are mods to fix that, so it's best to install one of those first.

    Regarding the Unlock button, it only appears to the objects that are locked initially in the game world (such as tables, chairs etc. for instance). So it's ok if you don't see "Unlock" button after you locked bowls, apples, etc.

    Don't know but I can only equip the spell on the right not both.
    any reason or solution.

    the menu does not appear.

      When you use the power two spells should be added and equipped by script, with one in each hand. If that's not happening then some other mod must be interfering in some way. The only thing I can think of would be some sort of utility program (ASIS, SkyProc, etc.) that's altering the spells themselves or something that would be preventing equipping spells in the left hand for some reason.

      And the menu only appears when you use the power again after having selected an item.
