Update 10th April '24
Hi everyone! Thanks to all of you who've downloaded and endorsed the file so far. I've uploaded a version for users of Veydogolt Trees. I don't use that mod, so let me know if you have any issues. Enjoy!
1.Load this mod beneath (overwriting) that one. 2. The Static Swaps Variety user needs to also edit the Static Swaps Variety - Nature Moss_SWAP.ini file to remove or edit the lines which conflict with the High Quality Ivy for Tree Stumps BOS swap.ini file. Otherwise the SSV-AIO BOS will win and you'll get blank textures. I just turned the chance of moss to 0 for each line, but probably just deleting each line would do the same job. EXAMPLE (from my SSV-AIO DTA patch's Static Swaps Variety - Nature Moss_SWAP.ini file):
That looks like a snowy log. Do you have the Seasons textures from HQ Ivy installed? I've checked the meshes from the Ulvenwald patch and there don't seem to be any errors.
Yes, all requirements are installed. I've done some research since posting this and it seems like it's probably due to the CM patch for BDS3. I think it's because the mesh doesn't support CM, but I don't know how to fix it. Anyway, there's no problem with the mesh in this mod. Sorry for posting incorrect information.
No worries at all. Sorry I wasn't able to help you get this sorted out. Can you drop a link to the patch? I might be able to take a look at it when I have some time :)
This is the mod. But I don't think this mod itself has a problem. The same thing happens to some other meshes that are covered in snow, but removing that mod solves it. Or using another mesh replacer solves it. Maybe it's something to do with the BDS shader, but I'm a beginner so I don't know. Haha
There are 2 ways to fix this error. 1) (I do not recommend it) in sseedit, you need to open the model record and change SnowMaterialObjectLight1P to NULL - Null Reference. in this case, snow will disappear in snowy regions. 2) (this is used in the latest version of High Quality Ivy) it was necessary to remove the vertex coloring under shader flags 2 and color from the vertex description from the ivy in nifskope. example with method 2 - https://imgur.com/a/snPdqxN example of a fixed mesh - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1JdOekqjabGN36GBr1cgOH3PE5X4UN_o7/view?usp=sharing
Hi there, give this file a test and see if it fixes the issue: Treepineforestlog02 Ulvenwald Patch.rar It can be installed with a mod manager such as Vortex or MO2.
Hi there! Sorry, I can't really see from those comparison pics, but wasn't the issue with the ivy? It seems to be showing up in the comparison image of the file I posted. I know what Magnum has done with the file (removing the vertex colors), and I can do that for an update. I just want to check first that the ivy is still the issue and that it's showing white as per the original image. Thanks!
I left a bug report for the High Quality Ivy For Stumps and Logs - HLT version. This mod seems to be reverting a fix implemented in version 2.0 of Happy Little Trees where it caused the roots of the treepineforestuprooted01.nif to be transparent. Removing the treepineforestuprooted01.nif file from High Quality Ivy For Stumps and Logs - HLT seems to fix the problem but then obviously you don't have the high quality ivy applied to that tree.
Hi, I'm using the Nature of the Wild Lands mod with Happy Little tree ‘treepineforestcutlog??’ meshes. Can you add ivy to these meshes? The sawmills would be more detailed in my opinion.
