In the Vanilla game Red Belly mine is over run by spiders. And there is a short quest where you clear out the mine so the miners can get back to work. However there is a bug the causes the spiders to respawn and murder the miners. The miners don't seem to mind and never mention it. The unofficial patch fixes this.
Populated Dungeons adds three new spiders who aren't effected by the Unofficial Patch's fix so they will still respawn. This small mod fixes that. So now the miners can mine unmurdered after you complete the quest.
