Unenchanted


Craft unenchanted copies of every unique-looking piece of gear in the game. Weapons, armor, clothing, and jewelry. Also adds a special enchantment for magic-users. Not to be confused with "disenchanting", which this is not. This does not consume the original item, and just makes an unenchanted copy of it.

To craft an unenchanted copy, just equip the item you want to make a copy of, then use any tanning rack you can find. You should see an option to craft the equipped item in the tanning rack.

  • If the equipped item is not appearing in the tanning rack, then this item cannot be crafted from this mod. Any item you can buy from a a vendor, or that you can craft on your own, is not added for this mod.
  • For anything that is normally unobtainable, you can equip the Ragged Robes and then use the tanning rack, to see what options are available. Even some items requiring the "Perfect Touch" perk you can craft, such as headsman's axe, or temple priest gear.
  • I've created special versions of certain magic robes with a new enchantment on them. Equip an Archmage's Robe or the Miraak Robe to see them. The robes that have this new enchantment are the Archmage robes, Miraak robes, Temple Priest robes, Telvanni robes, and Psiijic robes.
  • I've made it so any "hooded" armors and clothing can still wear circlets or dragon priest masks, as they no longer take up the circlet slot.
  • For the Dragon Priest masks, you can craft a cloth, light, or heavy version for any of the masks. This includes the Dragonborn masks.

This mod was fairly tedious to make, with lots of double and triple-checking, so if there is anything that should be on the list of items this mod supports that I may have forgotten, please tell me in the posts section or make a bug report. I'll consider any items I've missed as a bug, as long as it's in the base game and DLC's. I will not add any items from other mods, or from creation club content.

Unenchanted should be compatible with any modlist and load order, because all it does is add recipes and new entries.

Fixed some weapons using wrong crafting station. Added Keening, Headsman Axe, and made some gear more easily available using Ragged Robes.
