I feel like I am doing something wrong; I cant get beds from both Ignoble and Slepnir to show up. It seems to be maybe one of the other although it says its compatible so long as you let ignoble overwrite. Is it possible to have both kinds of beds show up at the same time? I feel like I am doing osmething wrong.
Hello, I'm having an issue with Ignoble Beds - BOS Use Those Blankets. When my character lies in the bed first and npc after, all is great, working as intended. But when npc is already there and my char lies there, the blanket is broken, it is half flattened and moved to the side from bed. Anyone had this problem and knows how to fix it please? Btw great job on the beds. ;)
I just tested with v1.0.7 and it's working for me even when an NPC is already sleeping. Does this happen with all noble beds? It could be an issue with your save :/
Yes it happens with all beds unfortunately, I tried different patches, looking through meshes, but nothing seems to be out of place. Can't figure out what is causing it at all. It is not an issue with the save, since it happens even on fresh save.
It happens to me too! BUT only for ONE bed in LOTD. I have a screenshot if you want it. (Only one bed that I've seen so far.) The bed is facing one direction and the blanket is facing sideways.
Eh, I have it in LoreRim, would have to clean masters, remove mods etc... would be kinda headache. I know it's not very proactive approach from me and it is my problem, but hope you understand.
Understandable. But to clarify, when I said disable BOS, I meant disable Ignoble Beds - BOS Color Variance and the BOS Color Variance UTB patch, not BOS itself. Nothing depends on them, so no need to clean masters. I can't reproduce the issue in my game so without help it's difficult to troubleshoot :/
Well disabling Ignoble Beds - BOS Color Variance removes all the noble beds from the game. And disabling just Ignoble Beds - BOS Use Those Blankets patch will.. well obviously won't make UTB work on any ignoble beds. It reminded of another isssue, none of the vanilla noble beds (replaced by ignoble beds) have UTB working with those patches in my game. I have to go into CK and replace the vanilla bed with some variant from Ignoble Beds - BOS Color Variance for UTB to work. I tried digging a lot, but can't find the issue, don't see any conflicts... idk really. It was tested on new game btw. New version of LoreRim is coming up, perhaps it will get fixed on 4.0 on fresh install. I don't think there is a problem with your mods tbh since so many people have it working, but it's a bit dissapointing for me as you can imagine. No biggie tho. ;)
Disabling Ignoble Beds - BOS Color Variance will remove all noble beds if you disable only the esp, what I meant was to disable all files included in the mod, most importantly the BOS SWAP .ini. Disabling Ignoble Beds - BOS Use Those Blankets patch will also work but only if the BOS Color Variance SWAP ini is disabled, it will just allow the original UTB to do its thing. I understand if you want to give up on resolving the issue, sorry I couldn't be of more help
The issue was conflict with Sleipnir beds in the end, I thought it won't have impact since it replaces only upperclass beds not noble ones. So my bad. :D However that broken blanket when npc already lies in bed persists on both mods. And from previous testing I disabled whole mod btw, not just esp.
Edit. Ah both mods are made by you, just realized that. :D
Just to double check, with Ignoble Beds disabled, are you seeing jayserpa's original UTB blanket meshes with vanilla noble bed textures behaving this way? If so, I would consult jayserpa on the UTB mod page, he's much more knowledgeable about the script/backend anyway.
When I disable all ignoble bed mods, the beds in game are just gone - no vanilla beds and yes while disabling mods not just esps, idk why that happens, my guess would be it might something to do with SPID? Some final output might cause that, idk... So i can't really test that.
There's probably a _SWAP ini in your data folder trying to BOS swap the vanilla noble beds. You could try temporarily disabling Base Object Swapper, the beds should show up then.
I am a bit confused and hope you can help me out. I have installed JKs Fort Dawnguard and JK's Blue Palace 2.0, as well as Rally's Noble Furniture and BOS. This means that I dont need the main file (Ignoble Beds - A Noble and Upper Class Bed Replacer), right? But I still do need Ignoble Beds - BOS plus Rally's Noble Furniture.
Whats the recommended load order then? Mainly asking because BOS plus Rally's Noble Furniture overwrites the SWAP file from BOS No Fort Dawnguard.
Don't install the main file, BOS exclusion won't work with it. I would let BOS plus Rally's Noble Furniture overwrite the files from BOS No Fort Dawnguard with the exception of the SWAP ini.
hiya! first off, love your mods. i can't count how many i have installed. they're perfect. i think i'm having a texture issue with this mod however - i'm using the BOS file that excludes fort dawnguard, and the "upper class single beds" don't seem to have textures assigned to either the bedframes, and some don't have the pillow texture either. if anything i'm also overriding this with "sleipnir beds" for more variation, but if you've got any ideas let me know. this is probably user error on my end :"D thank you again for your gorgeous work!
Rally has a Use Those Blankets patch on the Rally’s Noble Furniture mod page but it's not BOS compatible. I'll send Rally a DM asking for permission to make the patch BOS compatible :)
Rally's+BOS+UTB patch is up! Sorry about the wait, it took a while for Rally to get back to me. Be sure to update Ignoble Beds - Rally's Bedding BOS to 1.0.9 and check the requirements in the file description.

Happy sleeping! :)
but the Ignoble Beds - BOS No Fort Dawnguard
has made the children beds have sheets like a woody textures?
bos logs didn't show any fail swaps with it
Patches I have was
The LOTD bed patch,
JK's blue palace 2.0+
CC homes patch
(I did not have the main file or normal bos file at the time)
I switched back to main file and bos file, the children's beds are back to normal ; w ;
Edit. Ah both mods are made by you, just realized that. :D
Is the Ignoble Beds - Rally's Bedding BOS Color Variance patch used together with the spooning patch?
I just copied them over

So I will set the SWAP.ini in Rally's Noble Furniture to hidden and the load order will then be like this:
Correct?
