Adds dialogue to the stewards of Falkreath, the Pale and Hjaalmarch allowing the player to hire carriage drivers for their homestead without hiring a steward, voiced with generic vanilla lines.

The stewards of the holds with Hearthfire land plots will offer dialogue to hire a carriage driver for your homestead. Being tied to factions rather than particular NPCs, this service should be available regardless of who is currently the steward (eg the Civil War, or the default steward dying).

If only the "Never mind" option shows up, you've already hired carriages for all your homesteads or don't have enough gold in your inventory.

ESP-FE by default, no dependencies other than HearthFires.esm, no changes to any existing records. Mod-added steward NPCs will only offer the dialogue if they're assigned to the factions it checks for - JobStewardFaction and the respective crime factions of Falkreath, the Pale and Hjaalmarch.

A patch for Carriage and Ferry Travel Overhaul is available as an optional download. CFTO disables the vanilla carriage hiring dialogue from homestead stewards and adds its own with different script fragments and conditions. The patch forwards those changes to my new hold steward dialogue so it correctly enables the CFTO carriages.

Unlike with my other mods allowing you to buy stuff and hire people yourself for Hearthfire homesteads with nearly any suitable NPC, I decided to restrict hiring carriage drivers to each respective hold because in my opinion it doesn't make much sense to hire a driver from considerably further away to service your homestead - they would need to know their way around the roads, so they'd most likely already be a local to that hold.
