Really great mod! I tested around with the settings myselfe and from all I tested, personally i liked the recommended ones the most. But I'm kinda not a fan of harmeus commentars. for me it just doesn't suit the horror abience very well, would it be possible to add an option in the FOMOD to en- or disable hermeus's commentars?
yeah, hermaeus mora is my favorite daedric prince with my favorite voice, but for some reason I also don't want him talking to me in apocrypha unless addressing me directly. I'm not even fully sure why, maybe it makes him feel too much like sheo. But thanks for considering! Tracking.
it's been quite a while now and I don't know if you forgot about this, if you decieded to not add this option or planned to do this later, but is there a way i can disable hermeus's commentars my selfe with the ini files or change something in the esp file?
I am still planning on adding it. I've been working on an update to Natural Waterfalls for a while, so that's taking priority atm. In the meantime, you can match the FormID to the ones in the YAML and change their chance to trigger to 0.00. Alternatively, you can replace the sound files located in sound\fx\WTA\hermaeus with blank audio files.
i'd like to merge your mods with zedit, but do they actually work ? even if they are light plugins i must merge them because im using requiem and this mod need a limited amount of esp, esl, esm
Merging is not recommended unless you really know what you're doing. If using zmerge, the FormIDS will change which will render the YAML files useless so none of the mods will work. If you're set on merging, then you need to recreate the YAML files with the new formids given. That will take you at least a few hours or so, probably longer.
Daedric Enigma -Daedric Princes Voice Rework- SSE changes Hermeus Moras voice with fx, if using this mod I suppose the ambient Hermeus Mora voice that can be heard is still vanilla voice?
Ahh, I see what you mean now. Unfortunately, I edited the vanilla dialogue sounds so I would have to cut and splice the same ones in that mod in order to match. I suppose I could do something similar and maybe not exactly the same ones though, but permissions would have to be there for me to edit and modify their files since it wouldn't be just a simple patch. Or maybe Satafinix would be willing to put their magic on these sounds, which would probably be the best solution to be honest.
I just finished Dragonbore a couple days ago and this reminded me of the feelings I got playing it. That DLC has so much wasted potential for actual horror vibes. The Seekers and the Lurkers and the darkness and whirling of books and pages as the rooms around you unfold.... I need a whole mod section dedicated to making Apocrypha into a lovecraftian horror instead of the lovecraftian themed action rpg that we ended up. So many good opportunities in this game for real horror vibes and they squandered it every single time. Thanks for your part in fixing that! :)
Just downloaded again from Nexus. No HITME records here. If you have HITME's the mod won't actually work since the formids will not match in the yaml. Not sure what happened there to you.
I'm having the same issue, only on VR with our version of BEES, xedit 4.1.5d is showing tons of HITME's with this mod. I'm using all of your other audio mods (which are fantastic, thank you for making them!) without issue. So, it's very strange. The same thing occurs with the last few Snazzy mods as well.
