What does this mod do?

This mod has the same aim has NPC Infinite Block Fix but does it differently. This mod makes use of SkyPatcher to track if an enemy is blocking. If the enemy is blocking for too long, the block will be canceled. The mod is very performance friendly, as it only acts, when the NPCs starts blocking. When a NPC is blocking longer than X seconds(X = SKY_NIBF_Global_Time), the block will be canceled and the NPC will start attacking. The time is set in a global variable SKY_NIBF_Global_Time and is set to 8 seconds. If you want to increase or reduce the maximum blocking time, you can modify this global.


Difference between NPC Infinite Block Fix and this mod
The earlier version is only a fix for the game setting, that was incorrectly set by Bethesda. If you are using the Non-SkyPatched version you can install this one too! As described previously, this is a scripted version, that tracks NPCs animation events and only steps in, when needed. This scripting impact is near zero. So its very performance friendly!




Install
Install the latest version of SkyPatcher
Install the latest version of this mod.

Important Note
If you install this mod on an existing save. Its recommended to make a new save immediately with it after installing it. As the mod registers for events. If you reload (reload means, you are already in a save and load a save) a save, where the mod was not installed, the events will be missing.

If you do not do that, nothing bad will happen. The worst thing that could happen is, that some NPCs, that you are already in combat with, can still produce the bug.




Uninstall
Rollback to a previous version, where the mod was not installed.
