Have you used DragonRend and took Alduin health to 0 but he will just stand there while Paarthurnax Yells at you to use DragonRend.
Based on a comment that was posted by Tooto in the Alduin Bane Fix mod.
INSTALLATION
This is a bat file. So add this to your Skyrim's Directory.
Once in game, hit Aduin with Dragonrend then take his health down to 0 or hit him with Dragonrend wait for him to land open console, select him then type Kill.
then in console type "bat Alduindie"
This will force Alduin to start talking about him not able to die then flies away while the next quest starts up.
