Does anyone else happen to have an issue with these having wonky aim with True Directional Movement lock-on functionality?

Heads up for some reason, when in Vortex you check for updates, it shows an update is available, and if applied then installs the Mysticism patch.
Figured I would let you know and by the way can you stop making such cool effects that keep filling up my hard drive (jk)

I managed to figure this out in xEdit. Just load up the mod and use "copy as new record into" on the Spell, Magic Effect, and Book that are replacing the originals. Then link the new ones to each other wherever they reference the replacer version. Finally delete out the replacers.

Second this strongly! Some of us are too stupid for xedit, but as awesome as these spells are, I can't go without the hitscan power of thunderbolt, especially in VR.

exactly! the piercing stream spell this author created is magnificent, even more because it is so reminiscent of the electric effect on oblivion, only realistic next gen (actually I was thinking, it there was an electric shout for humans, it could look just like that stream). But thunderbolt, a big actual lightning like the ones that fall from the sky to obliterate trees, that is irreplaceable.

Fine! If I get time I'll make a version where this lightning stream spell is a standalone spell.

That would be really awesome, because for whatever reason I can't get the spell to work like in your videos. It stays the same changed lightning bolt from one of the overhaul mods, can't think which one it is exactly. But nevertheless, I loaded your mod last and there is no change unfortunately.

But I'm still looking forward to your update and as always much love to you and your work!

I have a question and a request that are not related to this mod.
Can you tell me what types of animations you use for character movement?

Would love to see a version with Thunderbolt and Lightning Stream as separate spells! I love Lightning Stream, it's one of my favorite shock spells in my game (and I use A LOT of spell mods), but it's just not an equivalent of Thunderbolt. I don't mean that it isn't strong enough, it's actually very strong, it's just a completely different spell gameplay-wise. And that's for two reasons:
    1. Thunderbolt is instant, which is the signature of shock magic and can make a significant gameplay difference especially on higher difficulties. With Lightning Stream, not only is it not instant, it takes about a full second to reach its full range, which in high-risk combat is an eon. This means that suddenly the expert-level shock spell can be dodged, where all other vanilla shock spells can't be due to that being one of shock's gimmicks as an element.
    2. Lightning Stream is effectively an AOE spell, more similar actually to vanilla's Ice Storm in some ways than to Thunderbolt. I know that the point is for the spells to be able to pierce enemies, but Lightning Stream doesn't just 'pierce', it seems to have a wider damage radius as well. In some situations this makes it far far more powerful than Thunderbolt to an extent that at some cases verges into overpowered territory, while in other situations where a shock mage would've used Thunderbolt it makes it completely unusable. Specifically, in fights alongside friendly or neutral NPCs, Lightning Stream is more risky to use than even Fireball. You try to attack bandits, vampires, a dragon, whatever, with lightning stream even a single time in a big fight and the entire city will aggro on you. Thunderbolt was the perfect spell for this, it instantly surgically hit a single enemy, allowing you to toss out massive damage in fights like this without ever accidentally hitting an NPC you didn't want to.

Anyways, this mod probably isn't your biggest priority so if this never gets changed it's still a great mod! Love your work

Not sure if this is intentional but I noticed with True Directional Movement, if you are using the homing spells option, these spells will not home in on targets.
