Texture replacer which improves the reflective material properties of the Spell Knight armours so that they look like real metal.
This mod is an example of how to add dynamic cubemaps to existing materials. It was chosen because it is one of, if not the highest quality armour asset in the game.

DESCRIPTION
This does not use complex material features, so the gold parts of the ebony armour are incorrect (like in vanilla and every other mod). I might add complex material support in the future, but considering no one uses this and PBR is nearly here, it might be scrapped with an alternative solution. For now, I've replaced the solid gold sections so that only gold highlights remain.
These assets are not upscaled or modified by AI models in any way, but they are compressed as BC7 to prevent any additional quality degradation.
- Reworks the contrast and brightness of environment maps.
- Removes baked lighting from reflective parts of the diffuse maps.
- Reduces the brightness of the metal highlights on the steel armour.
- Adds dynamic cubemaps to a shared texture so it reflects the true sky instead of a fake one. Affects other objects too.
- Fixes some missing details on the steel armour environment map.
REQUIREMENTS
ENBSeries or Community Shaders ( from Discord ) with Dynamic Cubemaps.
COMPATIBILITY
Not compatible with any mods which modify Spell Knight textures. Not compatible with mods which replace the ebony meshes.
