A mod to distribute 25 outfits (15 male, 10 female) to child NPCs in Skyrim, made using Willybach's texture pack.

Ever thought the children's clothes in Skyrim are a bit bland? Then this is the mod for you! I've made 25 different, colourful outfits using the awesome textures from Willybach and distributed them randomly to all the boys and girls in Skyrim.

Each outfit has a 30% chance of being distributed so you should get a nice spread of outfits. If you want to change the chance of distribution to favour one outfit over another, you can just edit the DISTR file and change the 30 to another number between 1 and 100.

If you want to remove an outfit from the distribution you can either delete the line or add a ; in front of so the ini file ignores it.

EG

; Outfit 1 to boys
Outfit = 0x826~BetterDressedKids.esp|NONE|0x13AE8|NONE|NONE|NONE|30

Change it to this

; Outfit 1 to boys
; Outfit = 0x826~BetterDressedKids.esp|NONE|0x13AE8|NONE|NONE|NONE|30

If you want to ensure a certain NPC gets a certain outfit you can edit the ini file. Let's say you want Braith to get Girl Outfit 3. Add this line.

; Outfit 3 to Braith
Outfit = 0x84B~BetterDressedKids.esp|Braith

Don't try to equip the outfits to adults, they won't work. Outfits are assigned randomly when you load the game so they will quite likely change if you start a new session.

If you like the mod don't forget to give kudos to Willybach, or download their texture pack and endorse it. All I've done is create new outfits using their textures, thanks to their generous permissions. The mod is standalone, you don't need to download the textures.

Installation
Works best on a new game but can be used on a existing save too. Simply install like you would any other mod using your favourite mod manager, or to install manually just unpack it and drop it in your Skyrim data folder.

As the mod uses SPID which is an SKSE plug-in, it should be safe to uninstall, but you would need to use the 'resetinventory' command on any affected NPCs.

Compatibility
This mod is not currently compatible with RS Children Overhaul or The Kids Are Alright Renewal. See here for an alternative version that only replaces textures and is compatible with both mods.

RogueUnicorn00 has kindly provided an alternate version with a FOMOD that works with RS Children or TKAA. Use only one version. See optional downloads.

If other mods change the same NPC outfits they may conflict. It should work with other SPID mods, whichever mod loads last alphabetically will assign the outfit you prefer to an NPC.

To sort out conflicts you can rename DISTR files by adding letters at the start. For example if you want this mod to overwrite another SPID mod, rename the DISTR file to something like zzzBetterDressedKids_DISTR.ini.
