I seem to need some help, as it doesn't seem to work for me.
My character is at level 19, ready to level up to 20. I want to prevent that upleveling, because I want to do some training first. So this is the point in time when I activated the NoLevelUp SKSE mod and this MCM extension.
Now, when I load up my game and open the skill menu (without changing any settings), the level-up menu is still there (as expected, which is correct, because the default settings make NoLevelUp kick in only from level 50).
But once I DISABLE Level Up in the MCM menu (reproducible in any possible way - be it lowering the level limit to 0, 19 or 20, or by manually toggling the "Level Up Menu State" option to off), the following happens:
1.) Open skills menu 2.) No prompt anymore asking me to choose between Magicka, Health and Stamina (this is fine and as expected). 3.) But at the same time my character automatically levels up to 20! This is NOT what I wanted.
So I am uncertain: Is this a bug? Or did I just misunderstand the NoLevelUp mod completely? I was expecting that they would suppress the upleveling completely, not just the attribute prompt.
interesting mod, something what I was looking for, is there any chance to add some button prompt? I mean something like you level up, go into the skills menu, click for example F and you can choose between Health, Magicka and Stamina, and then your level goes up? or this is too complicated?
