Beyond Skyrim - Bruma + Moonpath to Elsweyr Synergy Patch

This is a small patch to move Moonpath to Elsweyr's Khajiit caravan from Falkreath to Greenwood, the southernmost point of County Bruma, in order to enhance the player's sense of travelling across Tamriel.  I made it for my own personal use, as I love the tremendous sense of geography that comes with games like Lord of the Rings Online and wanted to carry some of that across to Skyrim now that we have the ability to visit Cyrodiil.  This also includes my Immersive Start Patch that is available on the Moonpath to Elsweyr page and makes my Carriage and Ferry Travel Overhaul Compatibility Patch redundant. You must uninstall both of these before installing this mod, or you will get horrible problems. My Unofficial Moonpath to Elsweyr Patch, however, is both compatible and recommended! Just make sure the "MoonpathEnabler.pex" and "MoonpathEnabler.psc" contained within this file replace the ones included with the Unofficial Patch.

With this mod installed, the Khajiit will no longer be outside Falkreath. They and their caravan will not be in the game until you have completed "The Way of the Voice." When you have done so, they will appear just outside Greenwood in the south of Beyond Skyrim - Bruma's worldspace. You can't miss them. I can't easily do anything about some of the dialogue referring to Greenwood as a "cold and unforgiving wasteland," but I prefer to assume Verina is referring to Cyrodiil as a whole, which though warmer than Skyrim is still positively frigid compared to the jungles of Elsweyr.

Looking for a follower to take with you to Elsweyr? My new custom-voiced follower, Lucien, has over 100 lines to tie in with Moonpath's quests, locations and enemies. Check it out!

Disclaimer

I am not the original author of either of the above mods that this patch depends upon. This patch is not supported by the original authors, in any way, shape or form, and is an independent mod with its own responsibilities and faults.

Installation

  1. Make sure you have the correct version of all the required mods, listed above.  I cannot guarantee any of my patches will be compatible with past or future versions of their corresponding mods.
  2. Uninstall JR's Immersive Start Patch and my Moonpath to Elsweyr Carriage and Ferry Travel Overhaul Compatibility Patch if you have them. They are both redundant and incompatible with this mod.
  3. Download and install the patch, preferably using NMM or MO.  If you want to do it manually, it should be as simple as dragging and dropping the .esp and script files into your "data" folder.  Both methods will require you to replace Moonpath's original esp, so make sure you click "yes" to this.  If you are using the Delayed Start Plugin, you should be using the Delayed Start version of this patch, which will replace the .esp of the original Delayed Start Plugin.
  4. Sort your load order as specified above!
  5. Enjoy!

Uninstallation
  1. Uninstall the patch using your mod manager, or delete the .esp file from your "data" folder and redownload the original Moonpath esp.  This should safely revert any of my changes back to the original versions.  However, as a rule, uninstallation of mods mid-play-through is not supported by Skyrim, and is a practice that should be viewed with considerable caution.
