VR does not work. i got an error message REL/ID.h(192): failed to find the id within the address library: 55946 this means the script extender plugin is incompatible with the address library for this version of the game, and thus does not support it.
Having a bug with containers in Simple Food Spoilage (Havent tried other container mods) so assuming it's a fault here. I drop it, open it, put contents in, pick it up. Everything is fine up to this point, including adding weight. But when I drop it again to access the contents it empties itself and all the contents vanish entirely. Any idea what may be causing the problem?
I have discovered throughout my playthrough with the the mod that sometimes the backpacks lose the connection to their containers and holding E button does not open their inventory anymore. Those backpacks become bugged and their contents unreachable. Is there a way to connect the backpacks back to their lost containeir? it seems to occur most after death and reload of the character.
I have a backpack with a Description from Description Framework in the itemcard.swf. When I drop the backpack on the ground to "activate" it, and then pick it back up, the it Description is removed and replaced by "increase carry capacity by 0".
edit; upon further tests it seems that its Containerize that appears to be overwriting the description from the Description framework. I suppose because the backpack that's been "Containerize'd" isnt the same normal one that was initially giving me "Increase carry capacity by 50".
As far as I can see, the weight restriction will come from the mod with the tightest one. Other than that I don't see anything overlapping or clashing. You can set Containerize to not impose any weight limit if you are using that mod.
Hello! I loved the mod, now it's one of my favorites.
Unfortunately I found a problem that is bothering me. When using your mod with NFF (Nethe's Follower Framework) every time I give a command to the follower your mod breaks.
Ok, just because I'm beginning to doubt my Sanity, I am posting here
I have done everything that I can think of, but can't see to get this mod to function Tried it with different INI settings, with containers defined in the INI only, the test YAML and both, with and without Manipulation Overhaul and SKSE Menu Tested this with immersive backpacks as well
The SKSE Menu even shows the container settings are connected and valid / correct form IDs are showing, but pressing E shows vanilla behavior, no menu is presented I even disabled all other mods other than SKSE / PO3 and still no change
I've had a long day, so maybe I'm missing something fundamental, but I would appreciate some insight on why nothing is impacting this seemingly wonderful mod
If you installed po3's tweaks and all of its requirements, the menu should show up when you drop your item and activate it. This is what I have installed and it works:
Spoiler:
Show
SKSE Address Library powerofthree's Tweaks Containerize Immersive Backpacks (only ccBackpacks since there is no other mod installed)
EDIT: Make sure you have also installed/repaired Visual C++ Redistributables 2022 EDIT2: The mod will not work if you coc from the main menu. You need to start a new game or load a save.
While using Soulsy Hud, containerize seems to crashed when used, would a fix be possible? I absolutely want to use this because of simple food spoilage system, but a souls like quick menu is a must have for third person combat imo and no alternative is as good as Soulsy Hud imo.
Unfortunately, I could not find the source of the problem but you can find a hotfix under optional files. This does not mean everything will run smoothly but the crash should be fixed.
Interesting, I was getting CTDs with Soulsy HUD+Containerize and had no idea the combination might be causing the CTD. I'll gladly try again with the hotfix.
hi there, i saw the SoulsyHUD hotfix in the archive but couldn't download it. does the newest version also include the fix for SoulsyHUD? Since the description still mentioned incompatibility.
Let's say you containerized cheese. If you eat it from your inventory, you might crash. I'm not sure about the SoulsyHUD shortcut. I had done this test on an earlier version of Containerize, so it might not be true anymore. You would need to see it yourself. But you are fine as long as you don't containerize food and eat it (not sure why you would do that anyway).
@Quantumyilmaz So does your reply to rgon842 below mean that we cannot get the ID of the CONT associated with the containerized item? I've been going around in circles trying to use Skypatcher and some other tools with containerized items, but I haven't found a way to get a CONT FormID to work with. Is it possible? It would be very useful to have.
I'm experimenting with this mod, and I love it. Question for you Quantimylimaz: How hard would it be to implement something where the weight of the container is a fraction of its contents, instead of the current system where the weight of the container reflects 100% of its contents ? E.g., If I wanted the bag to reduce the weight of what I am carrying by, say 50%, would that be possible?
I'm asking as a big fan of cdcooly's old mod, Portable Containers, where you could manually adjust the weight reduction of the container bags. That feature made for a very elegant solution to an immersive carrying system. Without that feature, there is no reason to put equipment in a bag unless you are using something like RAB Inventory, which gives you a limit to the gear you're carrying other than weight. As much as I love the idea of RAB and other "equipment slot" mods, the fact is that Skyrim already has a firm inventory capacity mechanic (weight), and it gets tedious to manage more than one. Having a backpack that dynamically adjusts weight, at some ration less than 100%, fixes that and makes a very simple system that incentivizes backpack use but doesn't try to graft on additional carrying metrics onto your interface.
I feel like with this tweak, Containerize would be feature complete!

I honestly did not think that would matter with an SKSE mod, but here we are
Officially working as intended, and I am now embarrassed
Much appreciated!

You should be able to see this id in the MCP.

Edit: How do you adjust or set weight reduction? Is there a line in the ini file?
