Welcome to Another Sorting Mod-2019 SSE

-Basic survival mode compatibility built in.
-A (near) complete overhaul of the way Skyrim many items, potions, spells and so on, are organized, named, and appear in your inventory. In addition, numurous bug-fixes within, and many subtle improvements besides.
ASM-2018 SSE broadly conforms to vanilla \ USSEP values. IoW, totally Lore and Vanilla friendly, though not in every single case. There are no game-breaking changes, or radical departures from vanilla. These are features, not bugs. ASM-2018 includes many of Weapons Armor Clothing and Clutter Fixes feature set for seamless compatibly, in addition to its own changes.

If you are looking for a little more realism in your game try.....
    Optional: Economy Re-balanced plug-in.
-A small but powerful add-on that fixes (some) of the problems with Skyrim's broken economy. It basically reduces the players barter buy\sell % on perks and items to a more reasonable level. Also reduces the reward scaling for most of the games major and minor quests. No more 1000 septim rewards for running a potion across town! Not strictly an ASM file, but feel free to give it a try. Now an ESL.
Not compatible with economy overhauls, but *should*? work well with Trade & Barter.

    What's New, and News.
I recommend MATOR SMASH, for all your mod conflict resolution needs, instead of Wrye Bash. Find the latest build on the Mator Smash GIThub
[ASM-Morrowloot Ultimate] You can obtain the latest ASM-Morrowloot replacement ESP at the Morrowloot Ultimate page.
[Weapons Armor Clothing and Clutter Fixes] Load Order. WACCF goes near the TOP of your load Order. ASM, as usual, sits towards the bottom.

Micro-text fix now part of ASM-2019. The idea being, to reduce vanilla's verbose texts to use more compact, and informative formats. Reducing the letter, word count, gets to the root of the problem and helps reduce micro-texting w/o resorting to elaborate add-ons or workarounds.

OK, as of 23.2, I think Ive tuned, tweaked, fixed and upgraded the crap out of potions, crafting, effects texts, and especially armor, which got quite a lot attention imo. I hope you all find the improvements and fixes, worthwhile. I think im going to stop updating the main file now for a while, and only work on the optionals as needed. Most of them are pretty well aligned at this point, maybe a few need a some tweaking here and there but even that should be minimal.
Sorry for the all micro-updates. There were more than of those than I intended.

    Aug
Re: Wearable Lanterns. Simply removed a number of redundant records in the ESL. No other changes.

-A lot of the supported files got some much needed updates recently.
-The immersive armor wep file got a major update. Still not 'complete', but it is greatly improved nonetheless.

For those using the Aether Suite Mod by Halosmods, the file is now a replacement ESP. It also features a great many fixes besides ASMification of its various items. I am working on fixing its surprisingly (or not), poor nav-meshing. So, Ill be rolling out incremental versions of the ESP that feature more and more fixed or regenerated Navmesh for its various cells.

Be sure to check for updates in OPTIONALS as well, lots of recent updates going on with those. Some of the older versions, even recent ones, will not look right unless everything is up-to-date. If you are up-to-date, and something looks off, it might still be on the to-do list. Check the dates on those uploads.

Blue fire Magic v1.2 - Not supported currently.

I would like to give a shout out to Skyrob57 for donating premium membership to me. It was an unexpected surprise and a pleasant one to see this morning.
Greatly apprenticed and hope the files I work on and maintain continue to offer real value to you, and everyone else that uses and or endorses them.

Thank you very much. (Those premium D/L servers $$$)

Thanks for all of your work maintaining this Mebantiza!
What are your thoughts about doing an all-in-one download with a FOMOD to detect and install the appropriate patches like Qwinn's patch compendium?

It's sad when mod authors hide mods for Oldrim, even though it's far superior to special edition. Shame on you.

Sorry for the inconvenience but can we get a weightless items option like old sorting mods. I hate constant inventory management in Bethesda games and weightless mods are not compatible with this mod. If you can consider my request, thanks.

      + 1
I just installed this and it's awesome but now all my ingredients and potions summed up close to +800 weight and I was startled

This question has already been answered, but considering the immense overhead -mass wise, ASM seems? to be imposing on whirledwarotter I was curious to see if ASM and its changes could be anywhere near as bad it sounds. Nor does it state or imply, this is a 'weightless' item mod or that that is an optional feature in any way. In fact, if you go through the documents, it actually says the opposite.

So anyhow, I ran a test. A real test, using what we call, actual data.

Every item in Skyrim (or most) loaded into my inventory
ASM and the bulk of my load order, disabled, including ASM of course.

Total Weight: Vanilla no ASM. > 74, 909

Every item in Skyrim (or most) loaded into my inventory - w ASM of course and any compatible mods set to use ASM weights where applicable.
Full Load order. Keep in mind, there may be other mods present with some weight variances as well. This is not going to be a major factor however for this test.

      Weight ASM enabled. > 74,665

Not only, does disabling ASM not have any appreciable impact on total weight (mass) globally, the numbers as you can see, are virtually identical. In fact, having ASM enabled, results in a slight net DECREASE, but only ever so slightly as to not even be statistically worth mentioning.
[Caveat: Because of the inherent difficulties in selectively knocking out every weight modifying mod in a load order, the numbers I got will not be exactly the same in any two load orders. But shy of running this on a mod-free load order, consisting of nothing but USSEP and ASM, it is still going to be close enough to get a good sense of what is actually going on.]

(If you are wondering, the net difference is in the thousandths of a single percentage point). And its to the negative no less. Who'da thought?

Yes, if you are packing nothing but raw gold ore around, your going to encumber quickly. But there is absolutely no evidence, as you can clearly see, that the files net effect is nothing worse than redistributing (some) items mass around in a more realistic way - a feature. And one which is clearly stated in the FAQ. One thing you say for certain is, your items weight is defiantly not going up net globally. If it were, the numbers would clearly show this happening, and they do not do that.

If you were hoping to see every item weigh .1, no. Now I know some people want every item in the games weight nullified out. I get that, I really do, and there are even a few mods that do just that, but this is not one of them. Sorry.

If this issue was already decided before in terms of feature set and balance etc, it no less decided now.

Where can I find your updated ASM for old Skyrim?

The original mod page for LE is here:
    https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/32145
The description has a link to your updated mod, but it's hidden:
    https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/72428
and it says the updated file can be found on the Special Edition mod page, but all files here are for SE of course.

Could you add or un-hide your updated version for Skyrim LE?

Is this mod compatible with Dear Diary? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/23010

I tried using them together and it results in the game displaying the vanilla inventory mod and not the diary one.

I really dont see how, that file deals with MCM and this has nothing to do with Sky UI or any of its files.

Alright, thanks. I've gotta figure this out because there's no conflict between that mod or any other mod in my load order. I have ASM, Morehud Inventory edition and the Diary mod installed. I never tried ASM until now, so I assumed thought there had to be some issue here but that's not the case.

EDIT: Nvm, I'm a dumbass, I made a personal error while selecting the options, which is why the vanilla inventory menu kept showing. My apologies for wasting your time.

Would you consider doing a patch for:
    "MultiLayer Parallax Soul Gems SSE"

I may, the reason I didnt give that file much attention was that Gamwich has a replacer version for his 'regular' soul gems re-tex. Its not that version true, but, I'll keep it in mind for inclusion in ASM-optional s.

Mebantiza you mentioned on the Candlelight Spell FIx made by another used this ASM mod does that already by moving the axis of the candlelight spell when in first person.

But this mod is a sorting mod, not a spell fixing mod for candlelight.

Do you have it somewhere else? :D

Actually, I never released my little Y Z-axis candlelight mesh fix anywhere. The only light spell fix in this file, is for the duration of the light spells to make them a little more useful.

Have you got candlelight bobbing right in your eyes?

Yep, into my sensitive argonian eyes on first person :(

If you could just make the small candlelight mod fix SSE edition yourself with your corrected position and then upload it I would be very grateful and endorse it right away ! :D
