So, I am using this mod and Epic Dragon Combat and New Dragons by Lucaoys...And wow, Dragon encounters are now insane. I couldn't count the number of dragons in my last fight. More kept showing up.Fun: yep. Game-breaking: maybe...Awesome work. You've made encounter very intense!
Sounds interesting. How would it work with someone who never plays with followers?.
Edit: I'm blind. SpawnChance = 11% X Party size. For my particular case I have modified the script expanding the possibility to 35% since I usually play in forever alone mode (=
Geez, I don't know what else the author is supposed to write in the description. This is a mod that increases spawn according to a dice roll (script) and takes in consideration the number of followers. It also uses SPID. It also says it's a standalone feature of the author's gameplay overhaul mod, so there's probably more info there. I didn't read, but it's safe to assume so. The one line description told me everything I needed to know.
MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE MOD
I've been using it ever since it was released and sometimes I forget I have it installed, because the spawn increase is well integrated, you never know what you'll get and that's what keeps it interesting. Sometimes there are a lot of enemies, sometimes not that many, sometimes almost a vanilla amount. It won't give you an unholy amount of enemies if you're low level without followers of with just one, again the mod takes the numbers of followers in consideration, the difficulty is up to your mods and configurations, all this mod do is to clone npcs in a very smart way to make your game fun again.
PERFORMANCE
This mod in itself won't impact performance at all or cause script lag, it's pretty lightweight from what I've seen. BUT increasing spawns can be taxing. This mod won't just randomly cover your screen with enemies to the point anyone's PC will explode, but if you have a potato the extra npcs (especially in situations such as raiding necromancers lairs that'll have a bunch of npcs using magic at the same time) might cause you lag/freezing. I would say my pc is in the average range for gamers I use ENB and ENB light and have well over 2.5k mods and I'm doing just fine, no lags, no freezing,no CTD, no corrupting saves, nothing. It really depends on each user situation. Which mods they have installed, their PC capabilities and etc.
MY OPINION
I've tried every increase spawn mod and I didn't really like any of them. Some caused CTDs, others just felt way too mindless. I always knew I'd have double spawns in every dungeon. This is along with Unlimited Hostile Encounters is my favorite by far. It keeps me in my toes and it makes having a group of followers fun and engaging while before it was just too OP, especially late game when I'm already pretty strong. Of course I have other mods to increase difficulty as well, sometimes I'll have my and my party's asses handed to me and I love it. More importantly, I love how unproblematic this mod is, it just works.
Sounds like a truly amazing mod, esp to dynamically increase enemy spawns based on your party size. This is imo exactly what Skyrim needs beyond implementing new enemy types, good job and thank you.
I'm looking to use this mod as a replacement for Genesis(at least the surface spawns one). I wonder does it also spawn enemies in dungeons?
It looks like it does.
It looks like when for example it clones an NPC bandit they will look exactly the same as the NPC they got cloned from. So you end up fighting 2 or 3 bandits that look 100% the same. So the mod isn't flawless.
