Everything is working correctly in Bruma with this patch. However, when I entered the castle's dungeon I noticed an error, it seems to have relation with a NPC, but I'm not 100% sure.
SSE eats old models just fine. I think its kept in original version due reverse compatibility. Also you can convert it yourself, if you want, not a rocket science.
Oh I did it for myself, Daemonius. I was just suggesting it to him for the sake of having it work better with the game. When I ran them through, they were affected by it, which means there were still optimizations to be done.
It works fine without it, but it works a bit better when everything is as optimized as possible. Also saves file space, I cut the file-sizes down by about 30% by running it through the optimizer.

i mean i could but this patch was made from the incompatibility to one of Brumas signs WHILE using SMIM
