And this is not to bash or be negative about the Alternate Perspective mod, but the start of the game that you can view as a bystander with AP has a tendency to freak out, and I'm pretty sure it's cause of how Bethesda made that scene...
At first I tried the bystander way of starting and I had to force Hadvar along a few times, and fought with him since he loved standing in the way in a door opening where i couldn't move past him at all. So I was reliant on console commands and even do it multiple times cause Alduin crashed my game twice with his epic landing.
After that experience I learned of another way! I could just run behind the innkeeper instead of talking to them and down to the basement, lockpick the second door and up the ladder, to finish it off with speaking to the dragon to send me to Helgen Keep. And while I loved this method, I got sick and tired of Helgen Keep after going through it +50 times in 1,5 months....
So imagine my surprise when I discovered there was a SECRET BUTTON in the starter room that jumped me straight to the END of Helgen Keep so I could skip that damn keep I've gotten so sick of! I felt so awful from having done the stairs method so many times, when it turns out this amazing button had been available all along!
It baffles me that the information about this wonder button isn't yelled about everywhere, so I decided to create this patch that changes the letter on the table in the starter room to include information on all three ways of starting the MQ that AP provides. Now I can only hope that people actually read the letter, I can't force you after all
The reason I recommend starting the MQ as fast as possible is because alot of modded quests depend on Unbound being finished, some even need you to kill the first dragon at the watchtower too. This recommendation is one I give cause I'm used to playing Licentia QUESTS and in general I just find it best to get the start out of the way as fast as possible. If you want to roleplay as a non-dragonborn I recommend playing a modlist (or create one) that is catered to make that possible like Wildlander. But for the lists I'm a member of, Licentia and OCM, it isn't advised to not be the dragonborn.
What's written in the letter since I forgot to take a picture:
From my testing, as long as my patch is placed under alternate perspective, the order of the various addons/patches doesn't matter as long as they're all underneath AP.
