Hello I'm having an issue, his head is actually missing when wearing the mask so he's like a headless person walking in Riverwood (i was using the old version that time) but after removing the mask via CC everything looks ok
Please don't ever prevent us from skipping dialogue! We read the subtitles MUCH faster than the voice acting. It's really an obstacle to enjoying your lovely quest!
You have a mod that edits the Wooden Mask, probably this. Just search for another mask and make the npc equip it by clicking on him and using the console commandsadditem xxxxxxx 1 and equipitem xxxxxxx 1 (xxxxxxx = ID) In my case i used the Apostate mask from Glenmoril because it fits well.
Could you please release this Glenmoril item adding as a patch for us ? I've been troubled by the same bug (in using Improved Closefaced Helmets), thank you !
Hello! i just wanted to know before trying this mod that look sick! is there a lore based reason for why this person have a dragon priest mask ? like when i downloads this mod will i receive the answer ? will the poet tell me why he wear such a mask ? and is the reason lore friendly/convincing ?
I was casually translating another mod and came across this pearl, which made me think and get emotional... I really wasn't expecting to be so moved. Amazing mod <3 I hope that with the translation I've done this incredible mod will reach more people
I'd be more than willing to make a German translation. As I frequently write poetry, been working as a translator (engl → ger only) and proofreader, I am confident I could do it.
However, here comes the neat part: I have no idea how to actually make a mod of it. Is there a specific programm or tutorial you would recommend?
Did you use Xedit before? You'd need it to read the Plugin. I'd be happy to give you a Basic Intro If needed (also in German), but since I won't have access to my PC until end of next week, producing Screenshots ist an issue...
I haven't used XEdit, only SSE Edit for minor edits and a bit of problem-solving here and there. Are these very different? And yes, I'd very much appreciate to learn it. Last time I googled for mod translation, I think I got the wrong tutorial. Seemed more like translations for the own mod list only and automated translations above that, so... not really what I was looking for. :')
They are the same Tools, x ist the placeholder for the supported Game ;)
Alright, there you go, since you know how it looks like this ist gonna be easy. Just load up this mod's Plugin and expand all nodes. Look for the translatable strings in the righthand Side (Most likely NAME entries). If you found something you wish to translate, right click on the Item in the left hand side and choose "Copy as overwrite into". Choose a new Plugin in the Pop-up, make it esp flagged as esl, iirc it's the third Option. Name it as you wish. The new Plugin appears in the right next to the original Mod. Now simply Change the string und schreib was Deutsches ;). Done. It's really easy.
Alright, thanks a lot! I will give it a try. I think the challenging part will be to find out, what exactly needs translation (I am always worried about possibly breaking something, lol) The Portuguese Plugin will help in some way (seeing where changes were made). Well, I guess... aller Anfang ist schwer! :')
hey, just came across your comment. If you would like to translate, your best friends would be those 2 programs: x-translator here with some german dictionaries or this one: esp/esm translator for quest based mods the xtranslator is (meiner Meinung nach) beter one - but actually use one that better fits you ;-)
Why does he have a dragon priest mask (the wood one) does it have an in game explanation or it's just for esthetic ? i am kind of a heavy lore player so it's important to me.
There should be no conflicts with that mod, the file it's referring to is a script which just sets a quest stage. No idea why there'd be something conflicting.
It's because we both used the default name for a script fragment. I generally rename mine but I forgot this one time. I've renamed the script fragment. I'd suggest to avoid conflicts in future mods you rename your script fragments, or set the CK to add your own prefix to all scripts it creates.
Leaving script fragments with their default name can cause conflicts with other mods.
Hi. I have played through your mod and found it very impressive and touching, so I made a Chinese translation of it. May I ask for your permission to upload my translation file here? Also I wish to upload my translation on other forum so more people can have a chance to play it. It would be very grateful to have your permission to do so. Thanks again for the mod.
I assume you mean on Nexus? I'm completely fine with translations on any site, so long as they require my base mod. If you can follow that instruction, I really don't mind where you put it :))

Thanks again for the mod.
