Update 1.2.1 (Technical Patch)

Krein: Expansion Pack II has been released to commemorate the anniversary of the original release of Krein. We have developed the final content patch as version 1.2. While this second expansion pack is smaller, it nevertheless includes a substantial addition to game content overall. This second release also marks the date of termination of technical support for Krein, as is the case with all our other free projects. Technical support updates for Krein will be provided until March 21st, 2025.
This development cycle deadline was pushed to the limit, so we will do additional testing after the holidays on this release to ensure we clean out any evident technical issues. However, we don't expect to make major technical changes. ... -
Krein Re-released for Skyrim: Special Edition
Today we published the port of Krein into Skyrim Special Edition as Krein SE v1.1 (Expansion Pack 1). We may develop another content patch as version 1.2 (Expansion Pack II). However, this depends largely on the level of interest of players. Unlike Expansion Pack I, we will not have a timeline nor a development schedule for Expansion Pack II as player interest would need to be measured. If player support suffices, Expansion Pack II would be released with Krein on Skyrim: Special Edition some time in 2024, although there would be less new content in Expansion Pack II than its predecessor.
