9/24/19 *Update* The final version is now out, and I will no longer be working on this mod anymore. I have included a merged patch for Pale Beauty as well, for those of you that enjoy both of my mods. Please only use one version.

Thank you for your endorsements! :)

Please *READ THE DESCRIPTION* before posting. If you ask me a question that is already covered in the main article, I'm just going to tell you to read the description. Other than that, comment away! Pictures of your character with this mod are very much appreciated. :)

Version 1.4- Now less brassy blondes, and a more red-toned "dark" brown for more diversity. consult the picture for an idea of what you might expect. I'm leaving the old file up just in case people don't like the change, as the two blondes are a lot lighter than before and may be too light for some people. I'll be coming out with a new version of Pale Beauty soon, and will add a patch when that is completed.

I have come back and forth to replaying this occasionally over the years and I still choose this. I am a ginger and you have actual ginger tones.

    Thank you for your mod.

Thank you so much for both color mods. I use them since eons and you stayed still so true to vanilla, but better.

Such an essential mod - and you really adapted everything accordingly. I love that so much. Not just skin colors, but everything that tints the skin.

    Cheers

I dunno if this mod is to blame but I seriously need help with this.

For some reason, two of the default hair colours are red or peachy coloured. This results in people like Farengar and Riften's Beggar, Edda, having red hair. When they are supposed to have black and grey hair respectfully. Both of them don't have replacers to my knowledge.
THIS mod is the only mod I have that alters the hair colours and I was hoping it would fix my issue but no, they are still red.

I know this isn't the best place to post a bug issue but looking it up on google and all that yields no results and since this is the only mod I have that alters hair colours, I just have to ask if anyone has ran into this issue.

The issue may be with your lighting setup. Are you using ENB? Also, do you have any replacers for those characters? I'm limited in how I can help you, but try taking out your mods one by one to see which mod is causing it. Sounds like there is something overwriting the appearance of those particular characters, something which you obviously haven't thought about.
The reason why you aren't finding a bug like this is because it's another mod you're using, not a bug.

The thing it's not just the NPCs. It's literally the default hair colours being changed to red colours. Meaning that this also applies to me creating my character. I mean it doesn't matter for my character, all I need to do is use the colour picker from the Racemenu mod. But for NPCs that I don't have replacers for, it's very immersion breaking to see a elderly woman with a Ronald McDonald hair colour.

      To answer your questions:
No I don't have enb. I have Obsidian Weathers if that counts as lighting. I did already say that I don't have replacers for the two culprits, Farengar and Edda. But there's also others like the male orc in Markarth who also suffers this issue.
If it is Obsidian Weathers, I'll gladly get rid of it but it will take me time to find something that makes Skyrim look bleak as heck.
EDIT: Before you ask, yes I used SSEDIT to see any culprits that affect the hair colours and this mod is the only one affecting them. The NPCs aren't the problem, it's just the default hair colours being messed up for some reason, that of which vanilla NPCs and some modded npcs borrow from, leading to them having the red hair.  I'm seriously at a lost.

Well, again- try the process of elimination, including this mod. I don't know why it would cause anything like that, but perhaps there is a conflict somewhere. I'm sorry I can't help you beyond that.

No no it's fine. I'm sorry for even posting this, since it has nothing to do with this mod in general.

I did end up doing the process but I kind of gave up and just accepted this issue is here, for now at least. From my testing, everything is fine on startup but after a while, two default hair colours just turn into a bright red colour.
I just have to live with it for now. Thank for the help nonetheless, and the mod itself is great from what I can get out of it. Endorsed :)

FYI this can be turned into an ESPFE just by changing the record flag in xEdit (i.e., checking the ESL box). The formids are already good to go and don't need to be compacted.

I was about to make a mod just like this one when I found yours. Thank you!

P.S. This can be flagged ESL without issue.

I'm not sure if this is causing my game to completely forfeit the character creation but I'm playing in VR and it seems to be skipping my character creation entirely after adding this.

Nope. Not this mod. Although, I'm not sure if it's compatible or not with VR. But all this does is change hair colors.

I love the mod, but for me 2 of the blonde colours are too 'white-ish'. Could you show me how I can adjust the colours in the file? Thanks.

Nvm I learned that I have to make my own changes using creation kit.
