Adds 5 craftable lanterns designed for both you and your followers that can be hooked to your belt, providing a radiant beacon to guide you through the darkest of nights and the most foreboding dungeons.

The first full particle light lantern mod
(including first person view)
Like my old version, this one employs the light particle system for NPCs and the third-person view, but it extends its use to the first-person view. This groundbreaking enhancement systematically resolves all the notorious issues tied to the engine's light number limitations.
Features:
- Use Full particle light in third and first person view (also named ENB Light, need to enable Complex light support)
- Craft, loot or buy 5 Different lantern (or Pick them in the MCM menu if you don't care about immersion)
- Optional fuel management (Only for player), configurable in MCM.
- Follower support
- Optional NPC support
- This version use more optimized and streamlined scripts than my first version of Eld beri.
Installation:
- Install requirement
- Install as usual
- Load order does not matter.
- if you use Community Shaders, Install the optional file provided by tekonus
Usage:
- Craft at the forge or if you are lazy, buy it at store. (or if you want it now, open MCM and use the QoL Tab)
- If you use NPC Support, you can also loot corpses.
- Use Page Up key (configurable in the MCM) to light up or down
- Enjoy
Fuel management:
- Configure Refined Oil Duration in the MCM
- If you don't have Refined Oil, you can't ignite your lantern.
- If your reserve is empty, your light will automatically turn off.
- Buy Refined Oil from store or loot it from corpse, you can craft Refined Oil at Smelter (You need Dwemer Oil + Charcoal)
- Only player is supported
Followers support:
- Pick up their current lantern if they're using one
- Give them the lantern you want them to use
- If you give them more than one lantern, only the used lantern will be kept in their inventory; the others will be returned to you.
- Control them with a separate key or hold player toggle key 2s (default, can be configured in MCM)
- Auto mode, use their lantern when they are dark area except in dwelling.
- Sync with the player
Note:
- You can notice a blink when you give a lantern to your follower it is normal.
- After a fast travel or a loading screen, the follower's lantern may stop working, but don't panic, it will repair itself when you cross a new cell.
- If no lantern appears after you've given them a new one, the problem will be solved in the same way.
NPCs Support:
- Install Eld-beri II - NPC Support (Spid Distribution file)
- Use Light level slider from MCM to set when they use it or not
Known issues:
- MCM takes time to show up, if you installed all requirement, don't worry it will come
- You may notice a sort of flickering when you switch from 1st to 3rd person or when you leave the tween menu and you're in 1st person view, this is normal, there's nothing to do.
