Become an Ansei
This mod allows you to journey through the caves of the ancient mage Shalidor to reclaim the ancient knowledge of the Ra Gada warriors and learn to manifest a shehai (Soul sword). The mod follows the lore of the game however in the lore Shalidor never stole the Ansei ability from the redguards however they did vanish around the time he was alive, also you don't have to be a redguard to do this when it should be a requirement.Installation
Install with a mod manager or extract 'Become an Ansei.esp' into skyrim/data
Lore
Sword-singers were an order of Yokudan (Effectively Redguard) warriors who followed the "Way of the Sword", a martial philosophy on blade mastery. Singers were capable of astonishing feats of swordsmanship, and were viewed by some to be as much mages as warriors. They sought strength of body, and of mind. Although the tradition of sword-singing originated on Yokuda, it was brought to the shores of Tamriel by the Ra Gada (Redguard invasion) in the First Era. The sword-singers were instrumental in claiming the entire province of Hammerfell and establishing a new homeland for the Yokudan people. The greatest among the sword-singers were known as "Saints of the Sword", or Ansei in Yoku. Ansei had the ability to manifest a sword from their very soul, known as a Shehai or "Spirit Sword".
The Shehai
The Shehai has the appearance of the bound sword but does more damage and swings 5 times faster, it also costs less magicka to conjure. If you don't want to have to cast a spell then there are scimitars with the same stats on the enemies during the quest bit.
Quest
There is a short intro bit where you have to make your way through a dungeon to get the spell.
