About this mod

NPCs that could be your followers (with reasonable exceptions) will try to contact you by mail and thus attract you attention.

The idea
In the vanilla game there some number of potential followers that are quite hidden and the player character could hardly have any in-game reason to go and look for them, besides accidentally finding them.
So with this mod these potential followers will sometimes send letters to the player, with invitations to meet.

Details
The NPCs that are considered valid by this mod are:
1) members of PotentialFollowerFaction,
2) not current followers,
3) not dismissed followers (this filters out almost all custom followers, they tend to start as dismissed),
4) not members of more or less established guilds,
5) not hirelings,
6) not potential housecarls,
7) have not been used by the mod yet.

Surprisingly these conditions still leave a number of NPCs.

Every time you level up after reaching the starting level (the global value OK_PFRA_StartLevel, 10 by default) a 1d100 dice is rolled, and the result is compared to the threshold (the global value OK_PFRA_Chance, 50 by default) and if you are lucky and such an NPC still exists, one of letters (there are three templates) will be send to you.

If you read the letter a misc quest will start to find the sender of the letter. When you talk to the sender, the quest will complete. The NPC will be marked and no longer be valid as a new sender.

Configuration
You can change both global variables (see above) to configure the letter sending mode to your tastes.
You can also put any NPCs into OK_PFRA_Faction faction to completely exclude them from the mod's logic. This could be useful if you want to exclude NPCs like Lob (an Orc from the stronghold where The Cursed Tribe happens).

Compatibility
Should work with vanilla system followers if their factions are configured the same way as in vanilla.
Should exclude custom followers (they probably have dedicated ways to get in touch with you).

There is no way to cancel the misc quest when it started, but I can add a way if it is needed.

Esp is flagged as esl and is compatible with all versions.
