About this mod
Changes I've made to the awesome mod, "Starting in Classes" , by Styyxus, to improve it in several ways. See long description. (Starting in Classes mod is REQUIRED)
- Requirements
- Permissions and credits
- Changelogs
NOTE - I'm not sure whether this will work if you've already chosen your Class on an existing playthrough and add this mod, as I've edited spells, and moved effects to new spells, so adding mid playthrough, well, do at your own risk...
Here are the tweaks...
===============================
===============================
* Added a note that can be viewed in game, detailing the buffs and debuffs of each class, so you can make an informed choice of class. (This note should automatically be added to your inventory, but you can also recreate it at any tanning rack if you lost it)
* Made the class names more concise ("Brave Warrior" changed to "Warrior", "Poor Rogue" changed to "Rogue", "Elemental Mage" changed to "Mage", etc)
* Added prefixes to the magic effects (active effects) so they will be more organized in the active effects UI, and easily understood to stem from player's Class.
* Reassigned each individual effect to its own spell, so that only negative effects will show in RED in the UI, while all positive effects will not.
* Made some minor rebalancing tweaks to actual effects/abilities of a few of the classes.

There is an esl flagged or regular esp option in main files. You only need to choose one or the other.
Thank you to Styyxus for his great mod, and his permission to tweak!
Enjoy!
