Either way, I feel like that's a little bit beyond me. I'm not quite at that level of proficiency.
I think there are mods that cover it, though. Try "Sneak Tools" or "Dynamic Fires" or something. I would install them and see if they work for what you're asking (I'm fairly certain one does), but I have a headache, and my SkyrimSE install is plagued with unrelated frequent baseless CTDs that I eventually stopped trying to fix (and then did fix recently).
