For those wondering what the script did and what I changed, read this post
Essentially, the old script would do the following, for an exact representation look at the source: On Magic Effect -> If Restore Health OR If Restore Magicka OR If Restore Stamina OR If Beneficial -> If Player has Perk -> Do thing Update: I've added an optional file which includes the Papyrus Extender changes, I have not gotten test results yet, but I still encourage people to try that version, as it should fix the perks being broken.
Update 2: Test results were successful, I recommend everyone to redownload the mod as the papyrus load has been improved even more.
I have been beating my head against my desk trying to figure out what was causing such lag issues for me when I updated my mods for my current playthrough. I kept trying figure my game lag problems thinking it was an update of a mod. I have been using Ordinator for years without much problems. I am even using Optimised Scripts for Ordinator.
Installed this and noticed an immediate improvement. I could just turn around and the game would just stutter like crazy. When you are at 1700+ mods it is very tough to track down a mod that is clogging up papyrus. I suck at trying to read the logs btw.
On a light mod list you may not notice anything but on a heavy mod list something like this could make all of the difference in the world.

Glad I could help! I checked the mod you linked before uploading this and was surprised it wasn't included. I'm by no means a Papyrus expert I just tried moving the perk check before the others and it worked. Simple solutions are the best.
I cannot tell a difference between version 2.0 and 1.0 as far as speed is concerned in game. This is with my pre-existing level 11 character. I just now started a semi-serious playthrough.
I have mostly been waiting for the mod updates to settle down from the holidays. Serena Dialog Addon just dropped with a big update.
So are broken perks from other mods? Not exactly sure what I need to be watching out for.
If you installed 2.0 you should update. I fixed an issue with the perks not working on on-going saves (I derped)
Edit: The perks that are broken with version 1.0 are Stimulants and Crimson Haze. Both only started working once you had the Witchmaster perk because I messed up.
Licentia uses Vokrii, so this should work unless Vokrii is overwriting that specific script. I deliberately decided not to edit the ESP to ensure compatibility.
Scratch that, was thinking of Vokriinator, unless you meant that.
Hi Miss Corruption, I'm all for fixed scripts but I'm no mod author myself. Could you give me an ELI5 on what the original script is for and what it did wrong? That way, I'll have a better idea of when this mod will be doing it's thing. Thank you!

Anyhow, it's all fixed now and should improve performance even more!
Thank you so much for all of the work put into this!

OK, I haven't done anything in the Alchemy tree since installing your mod.
Thank you very much for working on and fixing this.

Thank you for making this too. A more stable Skyrim is always welcome especially with tons of mods.
