I wanted a unique replacer for the Notched Pickaxe - specifically a more Minecraft-themed one, given its apparent status as a reference to it. I had thought to just use one of the many classic voxel-esque versions available, but I realized I wanted something more grounded in Skyrim - something that doesn't look at least entirely out of place. So here we are.


It's a simple replacer exclusively for the Notched Pickaxe - inspired by Minecraft's Diamond Pickaxe, naturally. Doesn't change any other pickaxe in the game. I went ahead and gave it its own model and textures, so there shouldn't be any problems with pickaxe replacers, either.


I've also changed the tempering recipe for it to call for Refined Malachite instead of an Iron Ingot. And because I'm certain the question "why not a diamond?" would otherwise inevitably come up, my reasoning is in the veins surrounding the pickaxe - malachite and ebony. If we accept the Notched Pickaxe itself to be a Minecraft reference, I also believe the veins were placed to reference the diamond and obsidian ores in Minecraft. I may be mistaken, but that's my interpretation. To go along with this change, I buffed its damage by 5 points to be "equal" to glass. The unique enchantment it has is unchanged.


Supports AnimObject Swapper so the unique model will appear when mining if you have the Notched Pickaxe in your inventory.
