My First project in NifSkope
=========================
How to use:
- Download mod and open the new "chess" folder in Data>Meshes>MgntSphr55 (this is where I will be placing any further resources)
- Open CK
- Navigate to WorldObjects>Statics in the Object Window
- Drag and drop all nif from chess folder into Object Window
- Place wherever you want in your mod

- When you go to upload your mod, make a .zip of whatever your mod is called, and in that folder have your .esp and a folder named meshes. In that new meshes folder, drop MgntSphr55 folder along with any other resources, and in the MgntSphr55 add the chess folder. I do request this as like I mentioned, I will be making more resources and I would like them to all be in one folder
=========================

An Ornate Chess Board with Individual pieces that you can place however you want

Uses vanilla textures and some from the DLC, anything that effects those textures will effect the board and pieces.

For a standard game, the set-up goes as follows:

r n b q k b n r
p p p p p p p p
8
8
8
8
P P P P P P P P
R N B Q K B N R

UPDATE:
I removed collision from the board AND pieces if you want collision in-game (probably only applies if you scale it up to 10) use the button at the top of CK that looks like a "c" inside a box

So this is my first resource mod with custom nif and I BELIEVE i set up the forlders correctly, if not PLEASE let me know so I can fix in an update.
No need to ask for permission, but I would like to know if you will use assets so I can check it out in your mod :D

E4 is best opening move, fight me
Have fun modding!! :D

(I would love to see someone make a working chess set where you can move the pieces. Technically you can just make it so any piece can move anywhere on the board and check if an enemy piece is there, but it is up to the player to follow the rules, but then how would a pawn promote and how to castle and en-croissant)
