In the original mod, there's 4 new added types of mushrooms ingredients, a new wax ingredient, and a new food ingredient which were dropped by the beetles.
In ESO, the Shroom Beetle instead just drops some random mushrooms.
I wanted to make myself an edit which did away with the newly added ingredients and food (tbh, the game already has enough of these things), and instead let the beetles act more closely to their ESO version by just dropping a number of mushrooms. This is purely a personal edit, but I thought I'd share.
To accomplish this, I created 3 leveled lists and gave them to the beetles, while removing all the items which were there in the original mod.
The loot lists are separated as "Common", "Rare", and "Glow"
The Red, Yellow, and Blue Beetles each get 2 drops from the "Common" list, and 1 from the "Rare" list.
The Blackreach beetles get 1 drop from "Common", 1 drop from "Rare", and 2 drops from "Glow".
The leveled lists include:
- "Common" list includes
- Bleeding Crown
- Blisterwart
- Fly Amanita
- Imp Stool
- Mora Tapinella
- Namira's Rot
- Scaly Pholiota
- White Cap
- "Rare" list includes everything from "Common", as well as the items below. This means that even though every beetle gets something from the rare list, it doesn't necessarily mean it's actually a CC mushroom
- Steel-Blue Entoloma (CC Goblins)
- Bog Beacon (CC Rare Curios)
- Bungler's Bane (CC Rare Curios)
- Hypha Facia (CC Rare Curios)
- Luminous Russula (CC Rare Curios)
- Wisp Stalk Caps (CC Rare Curios)
- "Glow" list is unique just to the Blackreach beetles and means a much higher chance of finding one of these 3 mushrooms
- Glowing Mushroom
- Steel-Blue Entoloma (CC Goblins)
- Luminous Russula (CC Rare Curios
This was designed to work with the "No Followers_with .esl" version of the original mod, and does require that you have Goblins and Rare Curios from the Creation Club.
An optional/alternative file is also available which only includes the Rare Curios content, removing the Goblins mushroom and requirement.
This mod is also flagged .esl.
