Recently I am getting a very weird issue where sometime my save would corrupt, what I noticed is that when the save is corrupted, the SKSE co-save is not generated. This is very simple SKSE plugin that will check if you have the co-save or not as soon as any kind of save happens. If the co-save is there it will show you a notification Save Valid else a dialog box with Save Corrupted message.
If you are facing same issue as mine, this plugin will help you to determine corrupted save, so that you can try saving again. Otherwise its useless to you.
Install/Uninstall anytime, it's a very simple SKSE plugin that doesn't store any kind of data in main save or SKSE co-save.
** Due to the fact that it looks for the co-save, you might loose a few frames when your save is generated, but nothing too severe. So again, only install if you are facing this issue.
Doesn't support MO2 profile specific save game yet.
