Age of Silence - Hyperphagia

Introduction:
  • Hyperphagia is a quest based addon for Shattered which expands upon the existing lore within my other addons. It adds in an NPC and a new, small location. The NPC can be questioned in order to gain insight about the world and its tragic story. This is the first official addon of the Age of Silence, a main quest with an overarching story which will be uncovered through out the addons and their releases.

Features:
  • Fully voiced. The mod features extremely high quality voice acting done by someone with plenty of experience. All voice lines feature many special effects done by Jake MacDonald which really adds to the mystery of this character.

  • Brand new lore. Hyperphagia builds upon the lore I have established in my previous addons like Stendarr's Devout and allows the player to try to decipher the cryptic and dark story of the Age of Silence. This story will be expanded upon in future updates as I release more addons, you will be able to ask more questions and uncover more about certain concepts. The questions you can ask are in exchange for ruined books, there are two kinds of these books in vanilla. Unfortunately, you will only be able to trade the specified number of books of one kind. For example: you can't have 3 of ruined book type A and 5 of ruined book type B, it has to be 8 of A or B.

  • New location. The mod adds in a new location which can be accessed via the Black Book in the now opened Thalmor Embassy.

FAQ:
  • Can the mod be downloaded mid-game?
Yes, it's completely fine to install mid-game.
  • Is it ESLed?
Unfortunately not, since the software I use has stopped working, anyone who could ESL it and send it to me would be greatly appreciated.
  • Is the mod clean?
Yes, I have only edited the necessary cells, there should be no conflicts due to dirty edits.
  • What is Age of Silence?
Age of Silence is the name I and Jake MacDonald have given for the main quest of my Shattered addons. It includes all my previous and future quest addons, all of these mods tell a story and the information in them is all relevant in uncovering the story of the Age of Silence.
  • Will this mod be updated?
Yes! Every time I release another part of the Age of Silence, I will be adding more lines and questions to Hyperphagia. Currently, you can't ask questions about previous characters like Shares-His-Mercy but within the next update, you'll be able to ask all these questions and more!
  • How do I start the mod?
Go to the Thalmor Embassy and within the basement/dungeon area now lies a Black Book. Interact with it and you'll be able to access the NPC.
  • Have you given up on regular Skyrim modding?
No, I haven't. I have multiple other projects coming out which people should really like. I just make mods for stuff I enjoy and Shattered happens to be one of those things.
  • I can't trade my books even though I have X number of them.
Your ruined books must be of the same kind, there are 2 types in vanilla and so you must have the required number of books of one kind.
