I use MO2 and the Pauldron textures from this mod affect NordWar armors that use the same ones... this persists even if this mod is disabled and uninstalled entirely. Any ideas?
Unfortunately no, because i don't use MO2 and i never had this issue before, even using more Nordwar mods that share the same meshes and textures in the same game and then uninstall some of them, so i'm afraid i can't be of help...
Perhaps, if you are willing, add any and all recolors into the file rather than optional black/red/white. Medieval Knights tented to have unique tabards that reflected their family, clans, and feudal holdings. Would be awesome to see a wide variation to the tunics.
I'm 100% with you about having a preference for Crusader era armor. I'm running a medieval overhaul of my modlist, and the best armor replacers I could come up with for the civil war factions were Credo and Medieval Surcoat and Tabard Armor Series. Those mods to great work with the designs of the cloth tunics, but I don't care for the full plate and late medieval helmets. I much prefer the early medieval aesthetic you bring to the table.
I noticed this is edited from a GoT stark armor. I giggled a little when i started editing the files as i worked on the MB Warband WOIAF mod doing all the Targaryen troop armors for it, Not familiar with this particular model but its similar so I thought this was cool.
Yes, the model it's the same one of NordwarUA Stark armor and the Stendarr's armor form Unplayable Faction Armors, and it's the same i used for my mod to replace Rigmor of Cyrodiil counties armors, it's a great model to work with.
I'm using Crusader Knights mod, and in my head canon, the Teutonic Order are Stormcloak aligned, the Hospitlars of Whiterun are neutral, and of course the Templars of Solitude are an Imperial faction. Much as I love black and white as a color scheme, white and red (and/or red and gold) feels more authentic to the Empire, and would match with the Templar color scheme.
Everything works except for the chest piece of the Penitus Oculatus for some reason. Like, literally everything is great except for that one. I have no mods that touch PO at all, and the only other mod I have that touches upon the CW factions is Real Armies, which, believe it or not, doesn't touch PO. The inventory icon is correct, and, when I drop the piece, it shows the correct model, but once it is worn by me/NPCs, it is default (vanilla) PO model. It's really weird.
Hello not sure if i am doing the moding right but im using the nexus mod manager. When i try to equip the armor at the beginning of the game on a fresh start i keep crashing. Ive tried both versions of the mod with no luck. im playing on SE with the AE upgrade. Does anyone have any ideas?
i get ctd for both replacer and standalone versions, not sure what causes this
I play on SE with AE upgrade, I disabled all my mods apart from USSEP, SkyUI, Alternative Start and this and still got CTD? I don't use any custom bodies or races, I'm baffled to whats causing the crash
I don't know what could be the cause, i just updated my game to the last Steam version and it works, i never used Alternative Start though, and i use the same meshes of Nordwar, so i didn't modify the bodies, only recolored them and renamed them...I'm afraid i can't be more of help for now...
it works fine on NPC's just whenever I equip the Cuirass on both Imperial Soldier and Solitude Guard variants it crashes, its odd as it doesnt occur for your Rigmor of Cyrodiil mod
It's odd indeed, but i can't replicate the issue, in my game it works well and apart the Alternative Start, me too in my game i use all the other mods you mentioned, unfortunately, i had a real life sad thing that happened to me, so i'm quitting modding and playing videogames for now, i'm sorry i can't be of more help, the only thing i can tell is that i was forced to upgrade my Skyrim to the last AE edition on Steam, so i checked the game to see if everything was alright, after upgrading all the mods that need to be upgraded for the last AE update, and my mod worked...
i'm not aware of this content, if you can give me some info amybe i canhelp. the easiest wayt check if a mod requires somethign is to check on Xedit, it'll tell you which masterfiles you need. Are you sure that the requirement is for this mod exactly?
These are things BGS added starting 1.6.xx, which apparently a lot of mods made post-AE require by default, even without any actual reference to their content. They are, of course, not in 1.5.xx.
Hi, sorry for the multiple replies - Coming back after attempting using SSEEdit on this mod to check requirements.
Indeed SSEEdit does not load SE_Crusader_Imperial_Legion.esp on account of not having the above-mentioned four things, so I can only assume that the only way from my end to change anything using SSEEdit, is to let Steam update my copy to the current build, causing those four things to show up, then loading this esp in SSEEdit again, then downgrading back into 1.5.97.
i'm in the same boat as you there, never updated to the latest version. However the autor is currently unavailable, but i may be able to ask him about it, whenever i hear from him.
I really don't know enough about modding to mess with this these files, but I'll be googling about removing master from esp - Although not sure, I really don't think this mod actually uses anything from the fishing update and such.
Late update and no idea if anyone is still interested, but I managed to use the "create dummy master" feature from Wrye Bash to trick SSEEdit into thinking that I have all the masters. Then a quick "clean masters" will do. No need to update to 1.6.xx.. Such a simple solution, I have no idea how I missed it for this long.
Hi, i uploaded an optional esp only replacer file i deleted all the AE masters dependencies, so that you should be able to play it with the SE version of Skyrim...

i have seen some user replying the solution was deleting some broken stuf inside their MO2 installations many times.

And see which mod conflicts for that line.
Thank you anyway for responding.

Any actions recommended? Thanks!
