I'm almost done with a "complete" static mesh exporting in max 2016. Materials and collision meshes are ok but:
1. How can I automatically add a BSAFlags with at least havok enabled? Otherwise collisions won't work. 2. I'm using SkyrimHeightMap shader on material but there is no Parallax flag enabled in Shader Flags 1
Please, help at least for the 1st question. Thanks.
Anyone having issues exporting a nif? Using 3DS Max 2015, the export appears to complete and the mesh will open correctly in Nifskope and Outfit Studio, but will not appear in game (the armor is invisible). If I import/export that resulting nif with Outfit Studio, it will appear in the game correctly but any added physics will no longer work. I have tried a few different export settings but I get the same results no matter what I choose.
There are no plugins because this isn't a Game mod, it's an extension of Autodesk's software, which has Nothing to do with SKyrim SE or Bethesda other than it being one of the tools they use to make their games. and ".exe" is a file type called an executable, and is used for a multitude of software applications. The Game Skyrim itself is an executable, as is Mod Organizer. Google Chrome, etc...
For those who still have problems not being able to import .nif files, go this YouTube link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sHq6jBFJr0g I believe it still works on older and newer versions. :)
So Autodesk has discontinued support for Max 2018.... any chance this works on Max 2019? Preferably newer, even, as this time next year we'll be in the same position >.>
